This game is incredible. And the soundtrack, oh man. This soundtrack is just ridiculously good. Wish 2D Mario games had soundtracks like this instead of the WAH BOP all the time.
this game should've been ported to the switch instead of the 3ds
god, i love this game in every aspect… Gameplay, Artstyle, Music, Soundeffects… Orginal Yoshi's Island is still Nr. 1 but Woolly World is a Masterpiece nonetheless

Mellow mode was a game changer as well as both power badges and the no true deaths I’ve always wanted to learn to be better at platforming but so many games had one easy level then just ramped it up to ten and acted like anything else was bad this game gave me confidence that I wasn’t doomed to always be bad forever as I gradually learned platform basics WITHOUT being ridiculed for it and I am not against hard games I’m just against treating people who can’t keep up with that difficulty as if they will never get any better
Wonder if it will be ported over to the switch. 🤔
I agree that this one is the best since the original on the SNES. This is my ranking of each of the 5 games…

when i heard of the wonder wool collectable it made me want to get all the yoshis. when i do multiplayer i always say WE NEED TO GET ALL THE WOOL. IF U DONT GET ALL OF THEM U HAVE KILLED A YOSHI. #NoYoshiLeftBehind

Eh, I loved the bosses in this game. Some of them can be challenging.
The one in 6-4, in particular, can fire a Bullet Bill up his ass.
luvvved this game, a throwback to the 16 bit era, haven't played a platformer this good since the 16 bit era and this is soooo good it rivals or surpasses any 2D platformer I have ever played. Good review, but I feel this will be one of the most underrated games on the Wii U

Just beat the game. Definitely better than Yoshi's Island DS and Yoshi's Story. I haven't played Yoshi's New Island yet so I can't say anything about it. So next to Yoshi's Island, this is probably the best Yoshi game yet.
can u play this if u only have the disk and no ammiibo?
This game simply doesn't compare to the original. Visuals we've seen before, and less creative level design and music.
I can't believe this game is even worse than New Island. Any other year Nintendo would have put effort in their games, but not in 2015. What happened that year?
R.I.P Yoshi 1995-2015
I was VERY pleasantly surprised by this game. I got it as an early Christmas present from a friend because I already had everything I wanted and was curious about it. I don't regret asking for it at all. Like GX says, this is the best Yoshi platformer since Yoshi's Island. Playing using the SSB Yoshi amiibo smooths out Yarn Yoshi's looks such that it's almost like playing a direct sequel to Yoshi's Island that takes place in a yarn world. Needless to say, my affinity for Yoshi's Island guarantees that this is the costume I use the most.
