  1. Reminds me of George Carlin who was famously pessimistic on humans in groups but knew how radiant we are as individuals:
“I love people as I meet them one by one. People are just wonderful as individuals. You see the whole universe in their eyes if you look carefully.”

  2. Watched this and was brought to tears…thank you for conducting this beautiful social experiment…how did y’all get this organized?

Is this something we can do in every major city of the US in every State all at once with the intention of bringing peace, love and compassion back to the forefront of the national narrative?

I’d love to help organize in my area…here in the Bay Area, CA.

    ✌🏽 💗 🙏🏼

  3. Very moving indeed. Wonderful to see such events. Perhaps this should become a regular fixture in my city (Sydney)! Tears for me – I rarely shed a tear.

  4. A few years ago at a Marina Abramović event, I did this with a total stranger, an older lady and we looked into each other's eyes for about 3 minutes. It was very arresting, quite confronting and then very peaceful and finally, quite moving. Not a word was spoken and we parted, perhaps never to meet again but with some kind of connection. Thank you for this reminder (in 2023)! Dave

  5. I've been watching another related video, and I found a funny comment there: In my town, if you look at someone like this, you're searching for a fight 😄… Anyway, this is a very touching video, full of interesting meaning, thanks !

  7. That's so interesting. I think there is a great benefit on doing this. I hope the government or something build structures just to do this. There should be some scientific research on the benefits of it too

  8. I cried when I saw the one from Ukraine 💔. Putin has definitely never looked someone in the eye properly 😑. Coward. I wish nothing but peace to all 🙏🏻💖.

  9. I would have to hug them as well. When you look directly in somebody's eyes, you connect with their soul. You feel a love for them even if you don't know them. This is so beautiful!

  10. Before attempting this, look in the mirror. Look deeply into your own eyes, till you see yourself with unconditional love.
Then go out into the world.

  11. Great idea. Now I realize that we are hiding each other every time, every where & try to feel happy with myself.
