It was a pretty even series.
Game 1 could have gone either way. If anything, I'd argue I was more impressed with the Yankees in that it was pretty much a bullpen game that they kept the Dodgers scoreless for 10 innings.
They split the other two games.
Both teams missing an ace pitcher. It could have easily been 2-1 Yankees as opposed to 2-1 Dodgers. Honestly, given the Dodgers taking the "Evil Empire" crown from the Yankees, they should have a .700+ record – especially given that they essentially have Ohtani for free until he retires. That was a good trick.

You thought May was good?! Judge is slashing .538/.667/1.192 with an OPS of 1.859 in 26 at bats so far in May. In his past 36 games, going back to May 1st, he has 18 homeruns, 41 RBIs, 39 runs, and is hitting like .400.
On May 1st, his batting average was .200. His OBP was .331. His SLG was .400 (.731 OPS).
Right now, his average is .305. His OBP is .436. His SLG is .703 (1.139 OPS).

Judge is currently 151 points higher in the OPS department than Ozuna who is in 3rd place (Soto is 2nd). 151 points is the difference between Ozuna in 3rd place, and Rutschman in 23rd place. That is how much better Judge has been than anybody else.

This series definitely had a playoff atmosphere with loud fans. But Soto not playing lowered the bar a bit for the Yankees. I don't think the Dodgers take game one if Soto played.
