I saw this video today and thought it was insane that the Rhode Island is so hard to get. Then tonight I played some wows with my buddy (who rarely ever plays). He tell me he’s gonna spend $5 on doubloons. I ask why. He tells me it’s so he can buy the Rhode Island. This guy got it on the very first bundle somehow.
Anyway we played a game with it and he was the first and only person on our team to die. Skill issue.
As long as idiots keep giving them money for stupid things like this, the more common it will become.
Get it, don't get it in early access, it's your choice. It's a free to play game with some 500 ships you can get free, and they are all fine ships and in many ways better than some of the premiums. As a free to play game, it is supported by people buying premium content. This model is nothing new. Please stop your whining.

And its not even that good. From PQ's vids it's just a glorified version of a KGV at T10 & a lot of gimmicks. Sure, you have improved pen angles, but the guns are Florida guns at T10, so you end up HE spamming

if you cant outright buy a premium ship in the armory it doesn't exist in my book bc its basically never gonna happen including steel ,coal , and research bureau ships i'm not saving up for months for one ship its just pointless and stupid
I am honestly getting bored with the game. They shoved CVs and Subs down our throats. This crap sucks. I play less and honestly plan on playing less than I already do. God knows what I will do to be less bored when I quit this garbage.
My rule for random bundles is easy. Is the ship the first item? GREAT! 1k doubloons is a fantastic deal! I’ll take it! But if it isn’t the ship? Is it a pile of tokens? I will probably still get it. Why not. Skip the early access BS and get what you want. Done.
But if the first item is neither? I’ll pass. I’m not going to spend the doubloons for crap, hoping the next one is worth it. Because there are a lot of bundles. Odds are not in your favor.
I wasn't going to spend gold on this event. I really wasn't. Then, I thought I'd just get a few bundles to check my luck. Then I opened up the game, went into the armory to check it out, and there it was…Rhode Island, sitting in the very first bundle. Yeah, best (and fastest) 2000 gold I've spent in a while…

Good job holding it together I could tell you would really like to use some propane words to describe the disgusting business model wargaming is now exercising. They are becoming a gambling company literally. It's a dumb move on their part and will do long term damage to them which they sadly will never grasp.
They could instead have chosen a business model focused on producing a quality product with emphasis on things like realism, sportsman, tactics, strategy, ect. Which would result in a very different player base… The type of high value player base other companies would dream of having because it basically makes maximizes your product lifespan.

So the thing about the bundles, there are only two possibilities because i seen it with champagne, colossus and Rhode island, if you dont get it as your first bundle it is pretty much always going to be last or in the last 5. I saw what they did with the WV44 and Colossus and still haven't released them, and whit how good Rhode Island has been playing for me i only see this going into the "Rare" ship catagory.
