  1. Thought I would watch this 4 years later since it was announced that the Pan-Euro line is coming out. Is this ship good to have in tandem with the new ships? Amazing that it took 4 years for the line to appear in game.

  2. Great historical commentary and footage, Jingles. I love it and keep up more videos like this! And I agree with the commenter below me, you should have just called her "The Dave"!

  3. Also the ORP Piorun took part in sinking the Bismarck when she briefly exchanged salvos with the battleship and remained uncharmed. After the war she was given to UK and served in the Royal Navy for some time.

  4. There was also the ORP Piorun, a third ship of this class built after the destruction of ORP Grom. Both piorun and grom in english are prenounced thunderbolt. Greatings from Poland Jingles, love your vids. 🙂

  5. Throughout WW2 my father was actually a very young sailor on the warship 'Błyskawica' and was in Cowes during the attack, as well as all of the other missions you mentioned in the video. After the war had ended, many returning Polish military men were imprisoned, tortured or killed by Soviet Communists on their arrival in Poland, so he decided to stay in England, where many years later I was born. [Btw, as the West was celebrating the end of the war and freedom, the Poles were still fighting the Soviets in villages and forests for a further eleven years until 1956, and hundreds of thousands of them were killed! Not many people in the West talk about THAT or are even aware of it!] Incidentally, my sister's Godfather (my fathers friend) was also a sailor on the warship 'Burza' during WW2. Unfortunately both my father and 'uncle' are no longer with us. Just wanted to share.

  6. Actually there were 3 Grom class destroyers built by the British. After the loss of the ORP Grom, a new destroyer was built and it was ORP Piorun which also means thunderbolt. Piorun took part in sinking the German battleship Bismarck, where the two ships exchanged a few salvos at night. ORP Piorun survived that encounter and served the Polish Navy until she was given back to the British and had her name changed. So Jingles you've made a slight mistake, but I still enjoy your videos and I learned a lot from them. Thank you very much. 🙂
