I might seriously buy buy this purely because the actual firefly is one of my favourite tanks in real life so I don't care how it plays in this game
The Firefly scared the tar out of both Panzer and Tiger tank crews alike, it was smaller, faster, and that 17 pounder Mark VII anti tank gun was just as lethal as the Tigers 88MM gun if not stronger, except the Firefly crewman often never had eyebrows from the flashback of the shot.
This should have been a tree tank, as the "Firefly" was based on the M4A4.
The vehicles built on the hull of the M4A1 were known as "hybrids" and were built to boost numbers.
Just another pointless premium.

We have to agree to disagree. Premium tanks should be better than the tech tree tanks. People are going to spend $50 for a premium tank just to earn more credits.

I got yolod by a m5 Stewart in this thing and he bounced every shot XD
And the Sherbrooks from Canada who actually had a better shot.
Just got it from the packs and watching to see if its worth it
Because they need money to keep the game you love going…

So another premium that is better in every way than its tech tree version. Like the Bromwell and the IS-3A. Shameless.

QB you can have all the tanks for free because everyone knows your a nice guy. That being said yes them adding premium tanks that are better isn't ok… I liked the days where the premiums always had something worse about them to make it fair.. The IS6 for example, great armor at tier 8 however a terrible gun with low pen, and poor handling as well as being slower than the IS3 and other heavies in the class. Or the JgTiger8.8 again, slightly slower and with a weaker gun witch against tier 9 really struggled.. But now days the premium tanks are just, well simply put they are 1 tier higher than they say they are.. A tier 6 premium performs like a tier 7, and a tier 8 premium will be competitive with a tier 9, even using my tier 10 tanks I bounce on the tier 8 defender!? what is that Wargaming come on.. All that aside, I like all the M4 vehicles so the standard free to play Firefly is one of my most recent favorite tanks.

QB love you man, but you need to understand the Russian mind when it comes to making the Premium a bit (or a lot!) better.
First, Russia is a corrupt country from top to bottom. Second you can not get a good deal from a bad man (you are young, remember that for your whole life… teach it to your kids!).

The Firefly je m'y favorite tank (not just on Wot but also un micro armorique style games, Flames or war,etc). I had the Cromwell before i bought this
Tank. I also had the regular Cromwell and the regular Firefly. The Cromwell has a very different Play style than the Firefly. I see no point un comparing them. I like m'y Firefly VC. It's an awesome tank!
The fact you feel the need to come clean about the WG gifted tanks is a pretty good indication of integrity. I have watched a lot of your videos and so far have had zero reasons or suspicion to doubt your views.
Genuine and honest opinions is why we watch your videos cheers for the review 👍

A very honest review, and thank you for pointing out what wargaming is doing letting you and other content contributers have and keep some premium tanks. Some people on other channels love to push products to get give aways (for any type of product) , but I and I'm sure others trust you to give us your honest opinions as you always have done. Hopefully wargaming will start to listen to them too. Great vid as always, keep em coming.
This tank might be slightly better than the regular Firefly, but it's hardly pay to win – it's if anything pay to play a less bad Firefly 😛 because in terms of power this tank still isn't anything special

9:10 Challenger is very similar tank to Firefly VC.It's still similar, because the Challenger still can use 17pdr.The 17pdr is better option.The 32pdr has much more pen and alpha, but the 17pdr hase more DPM,no aim time, Leopard 1 or E50M dispersion at 100m and a full 360° of turret traverse limit (the 32pdr only has a 120°).
WG should buff the regular Firefly to have the same stats as this one have on the gun at least!!! The rest can be like it is… Finaly WG is giving something in retorn to their comunity contribuitors i believe that any of you will make false statments on those tanks just because they were gifted to you. I ok with that.
what next? IS-2 mod 44 hero?
A Michael Wittmann Tiger would be nice to see but I suppose the SJW police would cry. The Firefly VC looks nice but it would be a waste for me, I have almost no Brit tanks. It looks fun, has a nice gun and all but wouldn't do anything for my garage unless I just wanted it. I am glad to see a non Russian premium. So it's a meh from me.
Nothing objectively wrong with having what is basically better guns on Premium Vehicles at some level or in some ways, such there is a trade or cost, similarly if there is one good advantage there is a cost to pay.
Having a better main gun that is great for 'bad' mobility, ex.
I'd go for the Firefly any day. The horrible soft stats the Cromwell has just destroy the tank for me. Sitting there for a long time and just wating to AIM AIM and AIM is really frustrating. That's why I like tanks with better gun handling which are far more comfortable to play.
I want that firefly now.
