  1. Music wouldn't be where it is today. Without The Beatles influence and innovations. Greatest band ever.

  2. The Beatles are just amazing, wow 60 years ago. I was 7..remember that Ed Sullivan
show , after that, started collecting Beatle cards, which came with bubble gum. Thanks guys,,,your music is timeless.✌️♥️🎶🎶🎶🎶🌟

  3. I’ve been celebrating the February 7th anniversary every year since 1964. That day was a game-changer. It turned me into the Anglophile I still am today.

  4. I thought the Beatles were great but they did not transform rock n roll . We had rock n roll in the US long before they showed up on American soil .

  5. Unfortunately within a couple of years they'd be touring America with death threats hanging over their heads, having to lie on the floor to avoid snipers and having to watch protests against them led by the KKK.

  6. Going to the Chrysler Museum in a few weeks to see this beautiful exhibit. Love the Beatles and all their amazing music!

  7. They day the world turned from black and white to living culture. I was nine, I remember where I was sitting on the livingroom floor with my five sisters and brother. The night I fell in love with John Lennon.

  8. I was 3 years old at this time, now I'm 63 and vaguely remember this time. Just remember they took a left at Greenland not a wrong turn off of Albuquerque. 👍🇺🇲☮🍺

  9. Thank you Beatles, for refusing to play segregated shows right from the start. Segregation was the law in the south in the 60's. John, Paul, George, and Ringo, thank you for all you've given us.

  10. All due respect but the whole world isnt marking the 60th anniversary of the Beatles landing in NYC, only the US is marking the anniversary. The only anniversary we celebrated as a whole around the world was the 60th anniversary of them releasing their first record. We don’t celebrate their arrival on US shores anymore than we celebrate them arriving in Japan or Spain. Better title would be “the US marks the 60th anniversary of the Beatles landing in NYC”.
