It was a punishment well deserved to Prost. He was about to loose the Monaco GP to an unknown Senna at the time with a second rate Toleman… He begged the race to finish and his friend, the Belgium Jack Ickx, did it … But it cost him dearly since he was awarded only half the points – 4.5. A second place to Senna and a couple of more laps would have awarded him 6 points… enough to be world champion ! 😄😄😄
if Prost finished Monaco and Senna won, he would have gotten 6 points and won the championship. that was a bad move…
