There are countless doomsday scenarios and I've heard so many end-of-the-world predictions I don't even pay attention to them. The moon being a cause of "the end" in 8 years is new and novel. This is nothing more than the usual doom porn though.
Plus a type 3 would have entire ships bigger than planets
