  1. Can you please do an updated Plant based / vegan guide to the restaurants? The last one i found is 6 years ago.

  2. I know y'all love Le Cellier in Canada but they are way too expensive. Better steaks can be found a short walk to the Yachtsman. I swore I would never go back to Le Cellier after 2 successive poor experiences. Shula's is also a good choice over at the Swan and Dolphin. Looking forward to a STK res we have in May.

  3. If you got a kid, unless they love Beauty and the Beast, Be Our Guest is incredibly not worth it. For one, good luck getting your kid to sit still for an hour or more at DISNEY WORLD. If they are not itching to leave to have more fun anywhere else, well, good for you. Otherwise you are spending $50 for them to eat 2 chicken fingers.

  4. just got back from wdw…dinner at cinderellas castle was excellent but chef mickeys was a real
disappointment…the buffet was average and the characters never quite made it to our table

  5. Artist Point is by far the best character meal, both for theming and food as both are excellent!! Maybe it's just us or the quality has declined over the past 12 months, but we absolutely loved the food at Hollywood and Vine. Based on your videos and people's comments, we are in the minority with that opinion. lol

  6. Tusker house is so good. That mac and cheese OMG. It was a great experience with lots of character interaction. The best friends breakfast at Ohana is also great! I actually liked breakfast at Ohana better than dinner, and that may be because I got to meet lilo ie my inner child

  7. Disney's food scene can be a rollercoaster of emotions, and my experience at 50's Prime Time Cafe in Disney's Hollywood Studios was definitely a low point. It felt like I was being gaslit the entire time!

But fear not, there are still plenty of great options in Hollywood Studios. Personally, I'd go for the laid-back vibes of ABC Commissary or the fun atmosphere at Backlot Express.

Now, onto Epcot! While places like Chefs de France offer an unforgettable experience and Le Cellier Steakhouse is top-notch, they can hit the wallet pretty hard. That's why I've been digging spots like Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, Kingla Bakeri Og Kafe and L'Artisan des Glaces for tasty snacks without breaking the bank. And speaking of L'Artisan des Glaces, let me tell you, it serves the best ice cream in the entire world. When it's time for a drink, Sommerfest/Block&Hans and Choza de Marguerita are where it's at. But for a full-on meal with dessert, Sunshine Seasons is always my first choice. It's got everything you need for a satisfying dining experience.

  8. Thank you very much for your honest review. Great to hear finally that you admit what we all know, not one sit down restaurant in Disney worth the money. The food quality is same asin the Olive garden or Panera, the price is astronomical. As long as you share that with your listeners, and they choose to hear that, the less they will be set up for a disappointment. As to the Albert and Victoria, the tip is $800. You can imagine the price, and the food is ok at best.

  9. Please…someone go back to Skippers?!! Same menu, but different dish!!! I've been there 4 times and 1st 3 times were EXCELLENT!!!! LAST TIME NASTY!!!! No jokes, gross food, and ok service!!! I didn't even eat my main dish (it was that bad)!! I agree with you on Garden Grill (daughters picky so it's been a while, but ALWAYS EXCELLENT!!), I was amazed with Storybook (best character meal EVER)

  10. I'm done with Beauty and the Beast. Last 2 times my family and I have eaten there it has been beyond sub par. 10 out of 10 atmosphere but the food it so bad now I can't justify the price any more. Sad. Used to be our first sit down of our trip every time.

  11. Well, I hated Chef Mickey's because the food was awful, and our waiter gave us some of the worst service I've ever received, even from a place like Applebee's. We went in September 2022, so the buffet still wasn't back. The food that was brought to the table was gross. I wanted to just ask for one of the kids' plates, but I couldn't because our server never returned to check on us until he brought our dessert plate and ticket. We never even got a refill. I know he isn't a representation of the restaurant as a whole and the buffet has come back since, but it really put a bad taste in my mouth. Literally and figuratively.

  12. I miss the Wave. It was my favorite restaurant. It was replaced with a new menu that illuminated the one entree I loved. I also am disappointed with the lunch menu changes at Be our guest, I used to love their sandwiches and quick service lunch. We are at the wilderness lodge on most of our trips and we love whispering canyon.

  13. I like how you explained not just what is recommended (or to avoid), but why and to what groups the restaurants may better serve. There are SOOOO many dining options at Disney, this is a great guide for beginners as a "where to start". Even myself, who tries to get there every other year or so (and worked on the college program back in the day), found 2 new ones I want to try now. Yak & Yeti and Acker, aker, AkerBlessYou (whatever it was called.) And since I don't eat meat and have some very picky family members, it makes it a lot better if we get food ideas lined out in advance.
And thank goodness you didn't mention Kona Cafe, my favorite breakfast spot for their amazing French Toast! Don't want it to get too crowded!!!

  14. With all the reminders to check Genie+, MyDisneyExperience, etc… Apps at all times it seems to me that you'd be forced to be more on your phone to check for available rides, restaurants, events, etc than actually, y'know, Experience the Park? It seems very intrusive and unintuitive for me and a downgrade from how stuff was handled 15 years ago

  15. I was going to do Be Our Guest and Cinderella's Royal Table, but then after looking at the menus I changed my mind, because I'm not a big fan of pre-fixed menus, as not only is it limited, but also the price you pay covers starter, main and dessert, but say I just want to have a main meal and nothing else, I still have to pay for the full menu. So basically, depending on what kind of eater you are, if you eat at a pre-fixed menu place you run the risk of paying for more than what you ordered. Of course, Liberty Tree Tavern is an exception because, not only is the menu all you care to enjoy, but it's also made up of food I know I like

  16. I'm still mad Be Our Guest had the nerve to serve instant mashed potatoes, and not even good ones they were so watery… Am I glad I went? Sure. Do I feel ripped off? Absolutely. And I wasn't even the one who paid so if that were the case I'd probably be singing a different tune.

  17. In all the years I have been going. I have yet too find a bad restaurant . We would go back too Cinderella round table . Our first visit was 2021 it was only $62 a person. There was my two daughters and I. We all picked something different and loved it all!!!

  18. At DisneyWorld, for $90, i expect to KEEP the silver or gold mickey platter itself…. Victoria & Alberts is unique and I understand why it’s there. Overall, the pre-fix at Beast’s Castle is the biggest let down compared to what was offered before. Hollywood and Vine is worth it for the characters. The food is “meh”.
Tusker House is a gem – lots of attention from characters. The buffet dining room parade dance occupies the kiddies. The Characters joust and among themselves. Totally worth the experience

  19. FLIES!!! On our last WDW trip, we booked dinner for our large family at a well-loved Chef-named full-service restaurant, but were overwhelmed with flies in the dining room! It was very difficult to enjoy our Southern-style meals even though they were delicious. Hopefully, they have repaired, replaced, or mitigated the pest problem.

  20. Victory and Albert's will never be worth the money. Sorry, not sorry. But if you want to go then go! I haven't eaten there because I don't have the money lol

  21. Up until recently, I would have listed OHana dinner as easily one of my top 3 WDW meals….but our last visit last summer was beyond disappointing. We felt like we were getting rushed through the meal from the moment we sat at the table, and the quality of the food was poor compared to before. In particular, the beef that used to be brought to you on skewers, was now just big fatty chunks in a bowl. The meat was terrible and chewy. The noodles were still good, but not as great as before. I literally ordered coffee with my dessert, just to slow things down a bit. Given the price, I am not sure we will go back again….soooooo disappointing!

I agree completely on Yak and Yeti….it has become a go to for us for lunch….great selection and super yummy!

  22. Our former favourite spot, which is gone now, we used to call the hidden jewel of the Disney Dining Plan, and that was Wofgang Puck's Express. It was counted as a quick service but was mostly treated like a table service with amazing quality food choices for all types of meals. From the corn flake crusted french toast for breakfast to the roast chicken and stone oven pizzas, you could not go wrong.
