What I like about the US team is their speed in terms of skating and decision making along with their techniques. Although you can find the latter in the European hockey, it's still much slowier than the North American style, unfortunately. What puzzles me the most is that it's been this way for at least a decade , and nothing seems to have been done by Europe to catch up with America in those components.

Calling a late penalty in a tied game on a one handed “hooking “ call in an elimination game is just brutal. Honestly, what would possesses a ref to choose that moment for such a marginal call. It robbed the teams and the fans of the ending that game deserved.

Sweden make goal the second power-play and went on in the tournament.
America also makea goal power-play and Finland had a chance to equalize but didn't take advantage of the chance.
