  1. Oh boy, Social Anxiety. Thank you for calling this out! I travel alone most of the time and it's something I have to overcome every time!

  4. Ooo could you do a more in-depth video on handling the heat? More about the right kind of clothes, best sunscreen, best AC in the park, personal fans, etc.?

  5. We vistited Blizzard Beach on a particluarly slow day and I rode the chair lift up with my family who all rode slush gusher of which I wanted no part. I wanted to ride Teamboat Springs so I got in line where there was just one family in front of me…and no one behind me. After somewhat loudly determining that I was alone, the cast member told me to get in the boat with the family. One leg in, the mom yells, "we don't want her to ride with us!". The cast member explained that I couldn't go alone so I had to go with them. Yep, it was an uncomfortable ride down for sure, but memorable and we laugh about it now.

  6. Fill a camelpack type bladder with ice from your hotel ice machine, wrap with a hotel towel and slip it into your backpack. Viola, 2-3 liters of FREE water as it melts.

  7. Loved your mention of the Ralphy-Christmas-Story moment regarding character meet & greets. You should do a whole video on how to handle character meet & greets.

There was one time about 20 years ago that my wife and I took our 2 year-old daughter to Disneyland. Pluto, one of my FAVORITE characters, was doing a meet & great near City Hall & the Fire Station. Pluto. That’s important.

For some reason I was having such a good time and we were all so excited that I kept telling the character “We love you Goofy! You’re the best Goofy ! You are so awesome Goofy!!”

The crowd kept saying “Pluto!” Louder & louder and even the character kept pointing at his nametag PLUTO on his collar and still my brain was in la-la-land and I was not getting it. I just kept on going for a full 1-2 minutes calling Pluto Goofy before my brain and mouth finally got reconnected and I figured out the epic brain-cramp I was undergoing.

I apologized, told Pluto how he was my favorite and that it was just temporary insanity brought on by my excitement.

It’s been more than 20 years now since that incident and I STILL get teased about that by my family. 😂

  8. I had a meltdown once at a Disney restaurant. There were five of us, two kids and three adults. Um… I was one of the adults. Very embarrassing. Way too much over stimulation that day. Know thyself before going and take lots of breaks as needed. It's almost impossible to have fun if you are completely freaking out, so for those of us who can end up in grown-up meltdown mode, it's best to cut out some of the activity and schedule time outs, so we can enjoy the times we are doing things.

  9. Swamp Crotch is no joke. I use athletic underwear with legs that go halfway down my legs. That did the trick for me. Before that I called the result of swamp crotch "Roast Beef" thighs.

  11. I didn’t know fighting families was a thing until I saw a pair of siblings arguing loudly at the station for thunder mountain. They were in the train behind me and continued to argue until dispatch. I was tempted to turn around and tell them to “Shut up”. Even the cast member at the station looked annoyed

  12. I learned the hard way and as a changed the way I did my second DW trip: Hydrate hydrate hydrate, carried a collapsible water bottle and drank water so often, I had to go to the bathroom at least every couple of hours; but it was better than a dehydration headache. And take motion sickness pills every morning; did Mission Space orange without it and had to get to the nearest gift shop for medication.

  13. Maybe this doesn’t work for everyone and a bit tmi, but for point #1 on top of the anti-chafe sticks, I also wear a pad lol it absorbs stuff 🤷🏻‍♀️ just make sure to change frequently

  15. Legit tho? The seats for Flight of the Navi in general are not very comfortable for any body size or shape. The Tron seats are far more accommodating

  16. If the massive meltdown happens and you have to leave the restaurant, will Disney still charge you, especially if you didn't eat?

  17. Has the Contemporary changed its walls? My dad used to coordinate meetings at Disney, and we'd get the Presidential Suite to welcome the attendees. Disney was nice enough to let our family stay in that room for the duration of the meeting. I really didn't know how lucky I was! But I don't recall thin walls in the 1980s-90s. The only thing we could hear from the room was the water dragon which drew us to the balconies.

  18. Moisture wicking clothing along with an anti chafe topical are a must for any hot and humid places you are visiting. And "revenge of swamp crotch" definitely sounds like a late night B movie 🤣
