  1. But how do you watch it ? Does rally fans really see all stages ? I want to watch rally but all stages is a bit time consuming.

  2. what a well made video, keep it coming, we NEED this kind of content to get more people engaged with rally

  3. 新ポイントシステムは実に複雑怪奇ですね。一層の事4日間通算では無く一日毎に順位に応じてポイントを与えて4日間のポイントを合算して優勝者を決めた方が好いかも知れませんね?

  4. WRC is great, but now it is so tamed and boring. I remembet when we had: Mitsubishi, Subaru, Peugeot, Citroen, Ford, Suzuki… even Seat appeared a few times.

  5. Nice guide, but I still don't like the absence of Kalle Rovanpera in full time this year.
Hopefully, he's gonna win the title part-time.

  6. Fantastic video, already showed it to some of my American friends who have barely any idea what rallying is, really well explained and to the point 🙂

  7. Could you make a spectator guideline?
It's ij my bucket list to travel and attend the WRC in many countries but I have no idea what do to once I get there..

  8. Excellent introductory video to explain the basics of the WRC. We need more people to follow and engage this amazing motorsport.

  9. This is really nice video to now link people that have not been with the sport for the last 20 years. Thanks for making such a comprehensive video and making it available to us all.

  10. Wait, you can leave the weekend with the most points (and win) without being the fastest when all times are added to a total?

  11. To all new fans. This point system is pure dog $hit, its going to ruin this season and i honestly hope that it i`l be replaced at the end of this season

  12. Great video! More of these kind of videos where you explain the sport, the rules and technology behind the cars etcetera 👍

  13. Great intro except sadly there are 2 lies in this video around 6:30
The Rally1's are sold as having "modifications" of rollcage and advanced suspension etc. when they are not at all. They are bespoke welded up race cars that are not modified from road vehicles. Thus nothing is really modified, it is made.

2nd is right after that, selling WRC2 as slower than Rally1 specifically due to the lack of Hybrid unit. (if anything, the WRC2 cars are often close to Rally1 in slippy tight conditions as they don't have the weight of Hybrid)
Taking advantage of people who don't know. 👎 (Has Julian reviewed this? )

  14. If someone wants to check out if watching a stage is for you: This WRC-channel also livestreams every Shakedown on YouTube for free.

  15. So if i understand correctly basically WRC consinsts of multiple "Events" over the year which consist of multiple "Stages". You get points for being under the top 10 fastest at a stage, under the top 7 fastest at the end of the last day and under the top 5 fastest at the last stage. All points of every event get added up and the team with the most points wins. Is this correct?

Two questions: Are the sunday points for being under the top 7 fastest overall at the end of sunday or for the top 7 fastest on that day? And do all Events consist of the same kind of stages / do all events have special and super special stages?
