Re: La Grande Dame. There’s a cliché in the UK that French people eat snails and frog’s legs, the latter is what she is referencing. Baby boomers will call French people ‘frogs’ as a result. It’s also why Ru made the joke about ‘tasting like chicken’, as that’s the stereotypical thing people will say about eating frog’s legs.

Marina's outfit is paying couture homage to banaue rice terraces in the cordillera region, one of unesco heritage sites, but the distinct red and black pattern is one of the tribes (idk if she specifies it as them or a vague nod to them) i dont remember what tribes tho

Top 2 and bottom 2 were fine with me, but would’ve switched Choriza and Hannah in the high placement and Scarlett and Tia in the low placement.
We are SO lucky to have Tia Kofi again on our screens. Truly
as an aussie hannah pushing the message of a treaty to an international audience is HUGE, it is such a big issue here and it was beautiful to see her sharing the message on such a big platform – especially after the disgusting 2023 referendum and australia’s racist reputation.
The thing with the French being associated with frogs is I think paneuropean since at least people in Poland and Norway also recognize this stereotype
Marina is my favorite to win this season already!
Just wanted to put these two thoughts into the universe: 1. Mayhem is amazing. Every entertainer chokes at some point. I hope Mayhem is able to be kind to herself and give herself grace. 💗 And 2: La Grande Dame is breathtaking. Not to be played with. ✅
Mayhem threw that match. And got paid for it. Girl made a deal. She packed two outfits and Ru brought the gongs.
First off – I AM one of those old gays who just scream about Cher and Madonna! LOL And second – I'm so excited about this season! Jonbers and Scarlet together is brilliant casting and I love Hannah. The top two were new to me – but I'm intrigued. I'm glad Gothy stayed… can you imagine looking that sweet innocent soul in the face and telling her she had to go home first – again? She moves like a robot, but she at least remembered all of her WORDS and her runway look was great. And third – it's great to see YOUR drag again! 😘

Okay but one of my favourite performances was that Brit Crew. He had charisma for miles.
Without seeing her season, I am OBSESSED with Marina. No matter what happens, she's my winner.

Mayhem could have made demon sounds/possession, sing the lion king theme, or just be loud and could a juxtaposition to the theme of her talent after she forgot her words… would have been funny if she just did a jump scare at Ru after the quiet bowl swirling. 😂

This season is packed with talent! Hannah Conda, Marina Summers, and La Grande Dame were all robbed of their respective seasons and they are out for blood! Plus, Keta Minaj did amazingly in Holland and easily should have made the finale but for some reason didn’t. I am loving this cast!
