How were they able to stay awake and chipper?
The Netflix documentary has given a whole new life to this song and its meaning. Now as an adult I have deeper appreciation to every artist and their unique talents. Together they are more powerful. Together they saved lives. And this song needed every one of them to make it what it is-a unified master piece that will always live on despite the fact that many of them have transitioned. This was more than history in the making. It is a legacy of love. I hope that it leads by example in today’s world. If only today’s artist could come together and help the people of Gaza. May peace be in our world always. Mr. Lionel Richie maybe it’s time to write a new song and help our world again?

Too bad Gucci Mane missed his invite
Great contributions from all but it's high time we recognize the stellar, game-changing performance from one Dan Aykroyd. Just would not have been the same without 'im.
powerful statement if we all just take in
I love how the first chorus with Mike is so understated, yet so powerful and rich. The band stays down, there are no other back up singers, but boy does it pack a punch with its feel and purity. Quincy was strategic and cunning with the space he gave that first chorus knowing The Wiz would deliver. And holding back like that helped launch the latter choruses to the moon.
Michael singing in the studio alone in the documentary was incredible that voice.
Steve Perry nailed it. I can listen to his part over and over again.
1985 in 10 years or less I will meet demons!
I've seen the Documentary 4 times already. Even my 13 year old daughter loves it
I stayed up late that night ( I believe it aired at 12 midnight or 1 in the morning). I have never been so moved by a song performed by the greatest of Greats 👍 Last night, I watched the Netflix Documentary and was blown away by all that was involved to make it happen. Brought chills and tears to my eyes all over again. This will forever go down in history ❤
❤

Wa wa wa lmfaoooooo
You couldn't put enough talented singers together nowadays to make something like this there literally isn't enough talent. and even if they all tried most of the white female singers all sing the same exact style not to mention auto tuning etc…

I never noticed Bob Dylan standing there like that
this song is sooooooo good
Over the years, now generations that weren’t even born during the time, I’m just glad a light is continue to shine on this timeless and extraordinary project. It was a magical moment in history and I’m emotional every time I hear the song, watch the music video and now this amazing documentary. We lost a lot of people but this song connects us all on a human level. And it’s indescribable feeling that touches us all. Rest easy to all those we lost.
Can please someone post the lyrics? Want to sing also 😅☺️
Just came I from Netflix
4:54 the best part of this song ❤
the 80's were a great decade, minus having to drive 55 for about 3/4 of the decade, but for the most part, the 80's will always be cherished.
Who had the best/ most critical vocal performance in this song? Michael, Bruce, Stevie or Ray.
Just finished watching the documentary
