The magnificent view of the world will heal your heart
So the Burj Khalifa's SKY Observation Deck isn't the highest nor the most stunning view it still somehow wins because "nothing else makes you feel like you're looking down from clouds like the Burj Khalifa"? That makes no sense. Dubai is so ridiculously overrated yet people pretend to be amazed by it for some reason.

You are always northern hemisphere centered, you miss the outsanding views from the ecuadorian andes, the amazon, the fall of el angel in venezuela, the patagonia, or the antartic, what's wrong you all???
Been to 3(+1) of these. Can confirm, Preikestolen and Val di Funes are stunning. But the view from Burj Khalifa… honestly Victoria Peak (or actually Lugard Road Lookout) wins the city view prize. EDIT: Also, Nepal looks amazing. Shame I could not see Everest when I was there.

The view from the overlook above the Golden Gate Bridge on the Marin side (that one) is also extremely beautiful in every direction. The narrow channel of cliffs opening into a large bay on one side and the mighty Pacific ocean on the other, the mountains behind you running along the coast to the north. San Francisco perched on the hills glittering in the distance, and the centerpiece itself, the bridge. Not a view I'll be forgetting anytime soon.
Would not have put Dubai on the list. NYC's observation decks give you far more stunning urban panoramas. Also the view from Victoria Peak is breathtaking beyond words.
no i dont agree.. you mix everything. nature and urban views!!! ridic!!! make a few videos of best nature views in each continent perhaps!!. in europe you cannot miss a few: fiords, loch ness, douro, austrian alps, meteora..

The view over the Lagoon of the Seven Cities in the isle of São Miguel, in the Azores archipelago, is well worth a place on this list. Especially when you got some nice but overrated places like Santorini on the list and you leave out a magical place like the Lofoten Islands in Norway. Watching the Midnight Sun there is an unsurpassable moment for any traveller
