Is it possible to edit a world that already exists?
Man I wish CAW was also ported to Mac users like myself which is definitely too bad since Windows users have it only, I have no shit idea why it was not in the Sims 3 base game like how Sims 2 had introduced Create A World in its base game before it. Its either Maxis had a short time and strict deadline to release it, had problems implementing Create A World to it as some proof in Sims 3's game code, or some other reason. If any Sims 3 Mac Simmers do not want to download custom sim player worlds, buy packs with worlds for their game, or rather want to craft their own Sims 3 worlds without using CAW for any valid reasons, then Edit Town and World Editor Tools in the Sims 3 base game ALONE are the only other ways to craft their own worlds despite so much limitations it has in world creation than CAW. And setting up emulators like Apple's officially made pre-installed Windows emulator called Boot Camp BUT DAM it takes too much drive storage / memory to get / install the items needed to run Windows on Mac which is also very tedious, difficult, and time consuming to boot up and I unfortunately have no storage left despite all my efforts to remove junk and unimportant stuff to get it to use CAW.
I was here… 10000 years ago…. You know the sims 4 isn't as good as 3 when you fin out people still look for this things XD

Can you create your own heightmaps?
If EA makes a sims 5, they better let the users change the world terrain, decorations, etc. But make it more user-friendly like the sims 2
Is there a reason why it don't work in game?
So this is where the pandemic has taken me.
Do you need to download hight maps or do they already exist ? And can you edit terrain or is it only hight maps that have to do whit terrain ?
I miss this feature most since playing sims 4. I had half a world build but have no idea what happened to the files for it 🙁
