  1. Please, please, please learn how to properly hold a knife when cutting (not how you grip it in this video). Its a matter of safety! Improper knife technique (and a dull knife) are amongst the leading causes for accidents in the kitchen.

  2. I'm sorry, but I can't overlook how you hold those oranges while handling sharp knives. Remember, people: fingers in. You don't want to lose your fingers to sharp knives

  3. Damascus is actually a weaker and less durable steel than a high carbon steel, however they do look good as long as your carful not bend it

  4. Everyone needs that 20$ knife. Who needs a knife for mass destruction. If your friend is carrying the last knife, the only thing you can do is pray 🙏

  6. Damascus isnt necessarily better, if its handforged it probably has a better grip, weight balance and is propperly sharpened, but the layers arent the thing that makes the difference. nice to look at tho ofc

  7. I don't think you guys understand the significance of Damascus steel…

"In the ancient Near East, Damascus steel was the stuff of legends, celebrated for its unrivaled strength and razor-sharp edge. Forged in the famed city of Damascus, a mecca of superior metalwork, these blades were a masterpiece of craftsmanship. Their unparalleled quality arose from the hands of master blacksmiths and the use of exotic, high-quality steel, likely the mysterious wootz. The secret folding technique used in their creation was a marvel, setting these blades apart as the ultimate symbol of power and artistry."

  8. While Damascus is arguably the best material for knives, it is not the sharpest. The sharpest would be obsidian as it is the sharpest material on the planet. The problem with making knives out of obsidian is due to how hard and brittle it is
