Arachnophobia is a phobia in which individuals have an intense fear of spiders or arachnids like scorpions. It affects about 3 to 6% of the world’s population. That’s not many people considering the global population but it’s still a legitimate fear.
Spiders can look intimidating; some species of spiders are venomous and look like they are aliens from outer space. Spiders like the goliath bird eater, tarantulas, wolf spiders, and king baboon spiders are not creatures that make us think of cuddling and kisses.
But what are the real stories behind the world’s largest spiders? Are they really all that bad? Maybe they just need some love too.
