1. You guys missed the point of the 1999 point game question, there are multiple X per 1000pt units/choices. Armies may play vastly differently at 1999 vs 2000.

3. Couple things… One, irrelevant for a showcase game like this, but you cannot take a Steam Tank in 1,000 points. It's 265 which is greater than 25% of the army you're allowed in rare. So when you say "people are going to do that" you aren't exactly correct.

   Second, and most importantly, I'm really not sure you're playing spears correctly. There's some convuluted things happening because of the wording, but I'm fairly confident if you really dig in, models in the supporting rank still get their attack of if the model in front of them is slain. The thing that should clear that up is that you don't actually remove casualities until after everything has fought. Just think it bears thorough checking.

7. The legacy thing matters less because of the practical side of it, but more GW is Preemptively showing they dont give a crap. At which point why dont we play the fanmade versions anyways?
