As long asyou move smoothly and calmly, youll never get bit. Wolf spiders are gentle creatures if youre calm. But they can get tempermental. Ive held one, and been bit. It hurts, but its not much worse than a bee sting

Idc if it was 1 mill a year I ain’t getting in the spider bogs. For some reason I attract spiders in a very unnatural way. Like my family went camping one year and when we woke up the first night I had 17 spiders in my sleeping bag with me and nobody else found one at all. The next year we went again and I sprayed repellent around me and even zipped the bag over my head. Woke up with 8 spiders on top of my bag. I swear it’s like I put off a pheromone or something that makes them find me. Never been bitten or had one get aggressive when I move it but still.
