Now, #BBCEye and #BBCPanorama investigate her close ties to a suspected Bulgarian organised crime boss and allegations that she was brutally assassinated.

This #BBCWorldService documentary has exclusive access to the US special agent in charge of tracking Ignatova down and follows a brave Bulgarian journalist who’s faced grave threats trying to get to the truth.

  1. I have a crazy theory. She may have not changed only her face, but everything about her. Picture this, she had sex reassignment surgery, takes testosterone and is now living as a MAN. Everyone is looking for a beautiful woman living luxuriously, not an immigrant man, doing menial jobs….

  2. U lot are dumb, ruja is definitely alive and well, she’s either a big player in takis establishment. Am also thinking she could be takis woman

  3. It’s like an antelope getting in bed with Lions; the minute her company went bust she became a liability. I really can’t see how she’d still be alive because it’d be so easy for them to extract every detail of where and how to access the money from her.

  4. I wonder the situation is with her daughter. I'm guessing the daughter is cared for by family and investigators would probably find out if there was contact with the mother. They mention the christening but nothing more.

  5. Looks like she was just a front for the whole sham. She certainly had too much planned out for her just to be shifting hundreds of millions about herself whilst living the life of luxury.

The only other option is she is the actual head of the Bulgarian crime syndicate and Taki is just the fixer.

Also very strange that her boyfriend doesn't seem to have squealed too much to the FBI and is barely mentioned in the 2nd half of this documentary – you would imagine he knew the whole shooting match.

  6. My guess is Canada…..they have massive unchecked waves of people from India, entire cities which are basically Indian, and a mindset that prevents any investigation for fear of being labelled racist by the inept government. Remember the Air India bombing?, the actual Nazi in parliament?….Canada is an easy hideout for sure….

  7. I think there is some discrepancies in this study. Her PR Evgeny Minchev said that Ruja disappeared in London. He waited he in one party. She didn’t come. Last person who seen her was her headdress. He made her hear for the party she didn’t go.
