  2. While I don’t agree with the war I do wish that Russia was in this tournament to make it even more competitive!

  3. Watch the hit by the Canadian on the Latvian.
Called on ice a major. but it is a clear hit to the thigh zone… not knee on knee.
How that ended up not a minor…. i have no clue.

Some of these hits are heat of the moment.
    These are kids ok.
    17, 18, 19

Germany won and man that is impressive.

  7. Germans played great and that was a cheesy slashing penalty. Let's be honest its only taken 60 years of countries other than Canada and Russia to catch up which includes the USA. Its nice to see new teams from Latvia and Norway becoming part of the tournament.

  8. Hockey is by far the most beautiful and skillful sport out there. It's no wonder it's gaining so much popularity around the world.

  9. As a Canadian looking in, hopefully not sounding "high and mighty," I'm glad other countries are improving. The Germany win is a great example. At the same time I feel bad for the Latvia players losing to Canada today 10-0. Sure I'm Canadian, but I'm also a hockey fan. Nobody wants to see a 10-0 blowout, I want to see a good, well fought game. Kudos to Latvia today, I will say I loved their fight and their players laid some amazing hits on Canadian players.
