  1. Is Kipchogue involved in Kelvin's accident? Now that's getting to his mind and he hears the haunts of Kelvin at night causing him to lose sleep and no longer competitive?

  2. Yes Adidas beats Nike in the men's and Nike wins in the women – however, as we all know the man/woman makes the shoe not the other way around.
Look at Tour de France cyclists – Jonas Vingegaard (the TDF champion the last 2 years) won on a Cervelo but easily would have won on a Pinarello etc. It's more of the person and runners also can wear "tweaked" shoes just as long as they are "approved". Cyclists are riding customized bikes but the TDF winners could win on multiple bike brands.

  3. Kipchoge is holding out to come back and shut yall up during the Olympics 😅. The badmouthing has been too much without a consideration that he is also mourning. Anyway, we are still mourning Kelvin's passing. Congratulations to our winner Kipruto who of course was Kenyan 😊.

  4. I was at Kiptum's funeral, only 1 runner from team NN was there! it says quite a lot about the dirt and everything is not right. And who was it that offered Kiptum money not to try to run new WR in Chicago

  5. A number of things we learn from this race. 1) These guys are going to continue to go out at 1.00hr pace for the first half, because one day, one of them will hold on and smash 2.00.00. 2) What Kenenisa Bekele did at the Valencia Marathon 2.04.19 to place 4th at the age of 40 was incredible. 3) Paris Marathon will be way more strategic and therefore never, ever right off Kipchoge and but expect it to be his swan song.

  6. There's nothing wrong with the halfway splits, especially finishing with 2.02.
That is a very, very fast marathon time. I don't think going negative split would've changed much.

  8. I swear to god this TRP guy has to have an 80 IQ, How can you call Kipchoge the undisputed goat when Kiptum has the world record?

  9. This strategy has been used on track and on the road. To break the leader, the only way is to go as fast as possible from the gun, hoping to break the leader. It used to happen a lot to Mo Farah, or Bekele, the opponents were pushing the pace hard from the beginning to have a chance to win.

  10. Seeing time finally catch up to Kipchoge plus the giant „what if“ after Kiptums death, kinda takes the joy out of watching marathons for me. Hope to see someone dominate and push the boundaries in the near future
