Five years ago, this Maserati Quattroporte costs over $100,000. Now, you can pick one up for around $30,000. Is this the deal of the century?

  1. Better help sells user data, what therapist would sell your private information? Isn’t confidentiality one of the most important things for therapy? Why do they still let them sponsor

  2. What depreciated even more than that car was the VW Phaeton!!! A 90k plus car new, now they are $5-$11k!!!

  3. My wife leased a 2019 Ghibili SQ4 for her 50th birthday (3-year lease). I tried talking her out of it, but she works every day, so it was her decision. Overall, the experience wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. The $800 scheduled maintenance (oil and filter change, etc.) was a tough pill to swallow. My biggest issue was the lack of tech as compared to other European luxury cars (no auto stop start, no auto brake hold, re-skinned FCA infotainment, etc.) along with the obvious Chrysler interior switchgear. The dealership took nearly $15k off the sticker price so that made it a little easier to accept for a lease. The Ghibli was fast in a straight with its twin turbo V6 (nearly 425hp), but its cornering was like driving a bus. My biggest concern in buying a used Maserati would the maintenance upkeep costs.

  4. Jeremiah still seems really depressed which is why he might have done the sponsor. Whatever happened to you or whoever did you wrong, I hope he finds peace. Not stalking or anything, I just can’t help, but notice body language sometimes. Cool review BTW. Take care.

  5. While I understand the premise of a 5-year-old $110k VIP car for $30k…I’d rather have a 5-year-old $30k VIP car like a Mercedes E-class that was originally $80k and know I’m likely not gonna be stranded.

  6. Honestly, outside of the horrible depreciation, this isn't a bad car on paper. I feel like it'd be like owning a Benz E class or a BMW 5 series in terms of maintenance. And it's certainly something different from a normal 'luxury car' if you like weird stuff. Yeah you get all the Stellantis crappy interior (although it's still quite nice), but it looks cool and has decent performance, which is what most car people look for in a car.

If you're an enthusiast I'd say it's a pretty good car, but if you're just a normal person who will just use it as an appliance, it's not a great option. Put some nice wheels and an exhaust on it with a tune, maybe a wrap and bags, or just strip the interior and cage it. I feel like it'd be a good hotboi car or a good race car.

  7. even though one instance is not particularly relevant, it would have provided additional insight if they had attempted to resolve whatever the "needs service" light was concerned about, the cost to fix the issue, and how easy is it to find a qualified mechanic for such a car. because usually , a special interest car is best serviced by a specialized mechanic for that brand. which contributes to price and demand, but was overlooked in the discussion.

  8. My brother’s son in law has one of these and they both think it’s hot as shite. I tell them it’s overrated, overpriced POS. Can’t wait to show them it’s worth less than a used Camry 😂😂😂😂

  9. Should do "Money pit" but with different casts. It would be fun switching it up and also knowing the conditions of others cars and stuff. We get to connect more with the crew and their individual builds 😎

  10. Don't tell everyone!. But I wanna say the Quattroporte weighs in at 5,600lbs . I'm going with the Ghibli as it's 404hp 3L weighing in a 4,000 lbs. 1,600 lbs is a lot of weight for a mere 21hp. My 99' Maxima weighs in at 3,025lbs with the 3L making 190hp. HP to weight ratio of the Ghibli is insane!. Weighs 1,000 lbs more than my sedan, is AWD but also gains just over 200hp! Just insane, and the Ghibli I'm looking at is listed at $16,500 🤷🏻‍♂️.
