  1. How to tech against Iron Thorns ex: Noivern ex, 2 canceling cologne, Hoothoot ASR (basic energy can’t be discarded from benched Pokémon), flutter mane, minior + max belt, don’t make weird hand gestures…

  2. Ian was not robbed of anything. He got a game lost due to a questionable gesture that could have been interpreted as a sexual.
Don’t forget that this is a kids games. Pokemon don’t play that crap and they aren’t afraid to show you the door if you don’t play by their rules.

  3. When I saw Ian do that hand gesture I thought to myself that it kind of looked a little similar to something else but maybe he just screwed up on doing a fist pump

  4. As soon as I saw Ian’s gesture I knew something will happen. I was actually surprised that they even interviewed him after that. People need to understand this is a kids game and you guys won’t be laughing if you saw a 10 year old doing that same hand gesture.

  5. Ah yes, the infamous day of Worlds where a guy fist pumps in the air after winning, but the combination of his unique smile and a poor camera angle ends up in a misunderstanding leading to him getting an unwarranted match loss a few hours later, resulting in one of the worst snowball effects ever bringing an undefeated player down against a meme deck that had no business being in a Top 4 match.

Truly one of the worst outcomes of this day of the event. Can't say I'm excited going into Finals for day 3.

  6. Okay, but can we talk about how Hayato Suzulki's Pokestop are actually hitting. I do that with my Charizard EX deck and I just get destroyed because I discarded the trainer I need.

Edit: Wow, I like the Thorton on this so much.

  7. I mean, it’s one thing to ban Ian, and another completely different to let Fernando go to the semis. He doesn’t deserve it, so they should’ve paused the tournament for a while and then do another format with the remaining players other than both.

  9. Who can tell me when the "Offensive gesture" happened? I rewatched Ian's match and interview and saw nothing. Worlds is rigged and Fernando didn't earn his top 4 spot.
