Super Mario World “Kill Bowser” World Record (6:55.0)

World

I achieved a world record in the “kill bowser” (formerly named 3-exit, now possibly named 2-exit) category of Super Mario World. Don’t get too excited, I’m not sure anyone really cares about this category.

  1. Ok so here's my question, why does this video have the unnecessary picture of the guy playing/in a rocking chair with a narrator as well, why didn't the guy in the video do it, I'm so confused…

  2. As impressive as this is from a technological understanding perspective, these speedruns are really boring

  4. I love Super Mario World because in the first level you can get so many lives from the red koopas it makes the game much easier

  5. As fun as this was to watch…I have to ask, is this a valid run? Because when you were looking for the correct X – Y coordinates for Yoshi, you kept looking away to another screen was this for reference images or was it another screen with a pixel overlay depicting the said X and Y coordinates. No hate, just a question =)

  6. Very impressive but what is category called that deals with players speed running on a game without the aid of glitches and just using the rules that were originally intended for the player?
