Do you have to get the green stars and stamps for every character too or is just with one character enough?

Ill just leave this comment here, but you could also have 2 of the characters grab the other 2 and then jump into the pole

Is this for the switch?
Another way: Player 1 carries player 2 and player 3 carries player 4. Then jump line up and jump on flag.
This also works in Online Play on the Switch version!
Is the fact that you can see who has completed the level only a Wii U thing? It doesn’t seem to work on my switch

A life saver
I was having fun with this game until I found out that I needed to beat every level with every character. Playing through these levels 4 times in a row is not fun in my opinion it's tedious & boring and lowers my overall opinion of this game from like an 8 to a 6 and the worst part is I might waste my time trying to do this.

Say you can't have all four people play and instead only….two or three playing, here's ANOTHER way that I'm happy to share:
– For TWO people playing, they each pick a character to be AND, as for the remaining two characters upon connecting the controllers, each player grabs their own player-less character as both jump to grab the pole
– For THREE people playing, they each pick a character to be AND, as for the fourth character upon connecting the controller, one of the three players grabs that player-less character as all three players jump to grab the pole.
This tutorial helped while I was play the Switch version along with Bowser's Fury. Thanks.
The reason why I hate completing every level as every character is I don’t have enough friends to do it fast enough. It takes too long.
You can actually pick up a character with another so that way you only have to worry about 2 🙂

I beat champion's road 5 times for no reason LMFAOOOOOO
….and if you have all golden stars, you get a cat footprint in the level menu. But… thats it? You get nothing… no extra something. Just a cat footprint 😸
I found that having 2 characters holding 1 other player is easier then lining them all up
I found throwing them also is easy, though not perfect all the time
im here when its on switch lol I beat the whole game with toad then i realized about the 5 stamps. Now i beat worlds 1-3 legit then did this trick with the 2 joy cons because it got tedious 🙁 i love mario games but beating the same 70 levels 5 times is kinda boring
When I beat a level with a character the sticker thing doesn't appear in the log book
