The referee should stop the fight two Nontshinga’s sequences before. He even did a count of 10 instead of stopping the fight when Curiel was no longer responding. He either tended to favor Curiel, or to say to himself that he is too resistant. This last sequence is the one where the referee was looking for anything to redeem himself and stop the fight, otherwise he was going to be ridiculous. 36 seconds remaining to the round in these conditions is far too much. The career of some one can came to the end.
