SHOCKING SCANDAL At World Series Of Poker! He Got $10,000,000

Everyone is freaking out about what went down at the 2024 World Series of Poker Main Event final table. Jonathan Tamayo had a group of friends on the sidelines who were using laptops. Further investigation shows that they had poker engine software, and it’s clear that they were coaching Tamayo on how to navigate this prestigious No Limit Hold’em Tournament. But is this against the rules? If so, what are the repercussions? And if not, what can we do about it? Let’s dive in.

  1. “Not today, not Tomayo..” 😂 I love DP he can really make me forget the everyday bs and just go get lost in the everything of the poker world; he’s like a funny poker Dan Rather, and I’d rather have the Polk to pull 😂 my own terrible unapproved pun for ya! #PunsRFun

  2. 17:47 oh, this is rich… So not only was it (probably) against the rules of the tournament (even if terribly enforced), but what they did was also literally illegal 😂

That guy who doubled down earlier doesn’t have a leg to stand on 🤡

  3. I really enjoyed this years main event. This just ruined it. How da hell the casino not be on top of this? Griff should get money from this. Tamayo should get fined huge. Ruined the game. This was downright cheating right in front of the world.

  4. I don't think he ever got up and did that during a hand and before making a decision, so what does it matter if you use a solver to analyze past hands? I don't think people even understand what a solver does. It's not like in chess where one key move can determine whether you win or not. Even if you use a solver to play 100 hands in a row "perfectly" that still doesn't mean you're going to win because 100 hands is literally nothing in terms of statistics.

  5. This is not a hard one, Douglas. This is a horrible look for poker. It should be outlawed immediately. I understand you probably can't do it at full scale, but once it gets to a certain size, it can be regulated. FYI, I like dumb puns.

  6. Wow, if WSOP do not rectify this by disqualifying the winner and giving the win to Griff (who deserved to win), then it is going to this is going to open a can of worms for future final tables and potentially across all WSOP live main event tournaments, people doing this. Whatever stance WSOP take, I imagine there will be a lot of backlash. If I was Griff, I'd be considering legal action.

  7. It's not hard. It's easy. No computers or cell phones period. If u get a call u need to answer leave and come back. A local card room I've played at doesn't allow phones or computers on you period if you're on a live stream…and it's not an issue for anyone. How is this so hard? WSOP just doesn't want to lose people from playing online while playing live. Well if you want to protect the integrity of the game..no computers or cell phones PERIOD while playing. This isn't hard..at all.

  8. It is hard to monitor the rule about no solvers with that much people and tables. But at the final table they could at least play fair. Option 2 is we allow all the solvers and it is a software vs software event. WSOPS = world series of poker softwares.

  9. 13 years as a professional. Made a fortune, should have made a LOT more. Online poker is so rigged it's unreal how gullible the masses are, no wonder they get away with it. That's before we even talk about bots, solvers, and all the other huge problems. This is no longer the cool game we watched cowboys in movies play. Live poker is even wilder, unless you're playing with your best friends in the world, there could be shady stuff going on. The "best" players are the ones that dont get caught.
