Marvel films slowly became links in a chain attached to a distant anchor film, like Endgame. No matter what link you started with you could easily pick up and follow what direction they were headed. Now, since Kang's implosion, they have become unmoored and aimlessly drift in an ocean of content, overlapping, twisting, and sometimes seemingly separate.
Not good. Especially when you know that they have had to redo the movie 3 times because test audiences hated every iteration. It started out with MASSIVE DEI woke messaging, truly reprehensible crap. This is going to be a watered down version of scripts that didn't work.
Optimistically hope this is a return to solid form
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is in my top ten movies of all time.
I didn't hate the Eternals either. It wasn't perfect but it was good.

I hope this is as good as it looks. The last episode of Falcon and the Winter Soldier left a seriously bad taste in my mouth.

Did you notice Tiamut in the trailer? Not easy to see if you're not looking for it.
My personal guess as to why Isaiah Bradley tries to kill Ross is because perhaps Ross was part of the experimentation/torture/confinement that Bradley went through back in the day when they were testing on him. He listens to Ross speak and all he can think about is young Ross making promises and lies and he just snaps.
For me "Eternals" was actually one of the better movies of that phase because what i want from Marvel in the end is to have really people with super powers and so more fantasy/supernatural stuff than just all that military shit where the "heroes" can mostly just wield a gun .. wow. And i must say from this movie i also expect it to again be just more or the military stuff that i'm not really that interested in.
Whoever edited this trailer looked at the Bechdel test and said "NOPE!"
TFATWS show was good and the showrunner is doing this movie so I’m hyped just for that. Red hulk is here!!!!!

Have they recast Eli Bradley the future Patriot?!
You may recall the Great Philhar-Magic Brawl at Disney World in 2023? There, a really DUMBASS family, decked out in their Mickey & Minnie Birthday outfits(grey shirts and WAAAY too small red shorts)decided to confront and 'throwdown' with another family cuz they thought they cut in front of them in line. True nightmare footage for Disney PR! Almost as bad as the TOONVILLE brawl of a few years before. Except now, half the brawlers were decked out in Mickey Merch!
One of the Birthday brawlers(from the instigating fam) was Elijah Richardson a young actor who featured as Eli Bradley in Falcon & the Winter Soldier. Apparently in an attempt not to get fired by The Mouse, he gave his legal birth name Fauqon Grant to the cops when interviewed post-brawl. Some called this a crime.
Of course when Disney H&R got word of this, the kid's future came into doubt.
So if poor Fauqon/Elijah ends up working in a fast food joint and his parents complain about his low pay, you can imagine his response:
YEAH WELL, I HAD A BRIGHT FUTURE AS A MCU STAR…BUT THEN YOU DUMBASSES THOUGHT PHILHAR-MAGIC WAS WORTH THROWING HANDS OVER!!! SO YOU BETTER MOOCH OFF SOMEBODY ELSE'S PAYCHECK!
I am so glad that all of the Fans of The Eternals are expressing their love, and I am so happy you get a pay off with the giant statue in the water in this film. There are couple of shots of it in this trailer, so I am very excited.
Mediocre all it is is the winter soldier story line put in some different wrapping with red hulk added to try and get fans to come back to theaters to see it

The Leader plays something and awakes all the super soldiers. Thus why Isaiah Bradley goes crazy, why Ross decides to be a Hulk, and all that. I read that in Variety I believe. My wife works for events, sports teams, Marvel, and more here in Atlanta. We did work for Avengers 1, Captain America Winter Soldier, Fast and the Furious while living in Cleveland. Now living in Atlanta it’s been Loki, Agatha, Captain America BNW, and Iron Heart. Actually we’re with Sebastian Stan at the Delta Club at the Atlanta Airport 2 months ago. I’ll have to DM you all photos on Instagram. My handle is the same as this one.
