  1. Definitely my top personal-favorite romcom eternal. And whether as herself or portraying Ramona Victoria "Rammy" Flowers, Mary Elizabeth Winstead will forever remain my top personal-favorite live-action actress and little sweetheart….

  3. I've got this movie safely stored on Tivo. I just watched it again the other day for the umpteenth time.
My son has the books. There's a lot of deep lore behind most of the stuff in the movie. Like when Ramona pulls that big hammer out of her bag, you can see there's a star on the bag. She's pulling the hammer out of space/time, just like when she roller skates to random locations. It's a form of the ninja teleportation.
Also that thing where Scott says he punched a guy so hard he saw the curvature of the Earth, that actually happened in the books.

This is why the movie holds up so well. The plot is based rather solidly on a good story. Instead of adding stupid stuff that doesn't make any sense (like most movies do) they cut a lot of stuff out to make this movie, but you can tell it was based on deeper lore.

And Nega-Scott is a really nice guy because Scott is such a jerk. You may have guessed that part.
