A Russian pilot, Maxim Kuzminov, who defected to Ukraine with his helicopter last year, was found dead last week in an underground garage in Spain, according to Ukrainian and Spanish media.
He had been living in Spain with a Ukrainian passport under a different name, it said.
“I want to clarify that it’s a case under investigation, so we cannot provide more information at this time. We must wait for the police to do their work so the investigation can go forward,” Spanish Government Spokesperson Pilar Alegria said on Tuesday.

He betrayed his fellow co-pilots that had no idea what was going on and they were killed. He sacrificed them for 500k, this is why Putin doesn't forgive betrayal.

Ofc, what did ppl expect? Every serious country would do the same with traitors like him. The fact that other two crew members lost their lives, makes things even worse.
He was involved in wrong war for bad leader, but that doesn't make him less traitor. Whatever you do, don't betray your country, consequences will be the same, usually when you don't expect them.
