  1. Hunters have been saying this same thing for years. Feral hogs are an extremely dangerous pest and every year this problem isn't effectively addresed our chances of solving this problem becomes worse and worse. People who do not have a deeper understanding of the impact of feral hogs (like the people who protested in Rome) should not have a say in how their populations are managed. Saving pigs means condemning a host of other species.
Thanks for shedding some light on this subject!

  2. I thought this was going to be boar-ing, but I was wrong. The team really went whole hog. I’m squealing with joy.

  5. In islam, it is haraam to eat pigs. There is no put answer for that, but we need to obey and search the reason behind. It is now learned that they could contain alot of diseases. Their nature also destructive, invasive, and dirty.

We do not hate them. It just they are not supposed to either be bred as pets or food source. They are part of wild ecosystem not part of modern neighborhood lol

  6. I've seen a few videos of those boar hunts. Whether from the ground or helicopter, they almost always eliminate the slowest ones while a couple of the fastest, most evasive ones get away. We're going to be overrun by super pigs before long if they keep this up.

  7. Yes they are. There's a very noticeable drop in quail and turkey population. When wild hogs move into a area.
Any ground nesting birds are game for tge hogs.
They will brake into chicken coops

  8. You know, I live in southern Louisiana. We've had a feral hog problem in my specific rural area for at least a decade & a half. What I'm seeing though isn't that the hogs are going anywhere new or people moving into their domain. It's no one specifically hunting them anymore. Anyone I know who still hunts only really hunt deer or duck. Hogs that are killed are killed only as pests that have been caught tearing up someone's property like coyotes are killed when they get caught in someone's pasture. My dad & his brother were primarily hunting hogs when they were growing up & my male cousins did the same when we were younger. It really feels like the culture has shifted away from hunting for meat & getting a trophy for your wall if you're lucky, to hunting for the grams & trophy with the meat as a nice bonus.

  9. Where I live there aren't any pigs, but deer are a big problem. And the local National Park has been asking to shoot them from a helicopter for over a decade now.
As you would expect, no one wants to kill Bambi's mom so it never gets anywhere. The pests eat all the native trees and plant's allowing invasive plants that don't provide for the local bee and bird populations to thrive.
