A few of the homes you profiled here I could see myself living in fairly easily. I've been wanting my own windmill style home were its powered by a wind turbine and water turbine, all with internal working so I wouldn't have to go outside hardly. I do like jobs that tend to keep my isolated from other people. I do like the one that folds up into a solid box of concreate when needed. I could learn to live in a place like that.
If some people want to live alone and fare away from this crazy "modern" world, let them. Sure they have a better life and live longer….. instead of suffocated in this terrible world.

They came close to starving several times. While their entire survival and story is interesting, claims have been made against the father researchers.

I don’t “hate” the outside world. I just DON’T trust people! Evil exist in this world. It dwells in the dark hearts of many. Seclusion from humanity at large goes towards escaping some of it! I would LOVE to have a few of those places to spend my remaining days.
The only question for me is – why spend millions for an island wich may be washed away due to climate change in the next century? 😀
Agafia was not discovered when only her and her father were alive. Her entire family, including her mother, father, two brothers and a sister were all discovered by a group of geologists out on a survey and they came back over a series of years, getting to know the family quite well. I had the privilege of living like that I’d never come out..yes I hate this evil world and happy with my family my dogs dvd guns and house sealed like a bunker and a safe put together like Cheyenne mountain cctv with drone weapons…surrounded with claymores barbed razor wire..traps like Vietnam 🇻🇳 sporadic ied and impossible entry or be eliminated..sharp shooters grenade launcher,fifty cal ..high powered scopes ..smoke with the longest burn time..hundreds of deadly snakes 🐍 your survival chances zero..flame throwers mortars failings gun assured death so when it says no trespassing it very loudly speaks just that !how much I like society or around just want privacy medical needs looked after 25 years of food and water plenty of oxygen fresh air..hydroponics comfy rooms everything everywhere
