  1. ✨-SIDE NOTE- ✨
For all the Stanley water bottle lovers out there. Just know, you are not allowed to bring your Stanley water bottle into any of the Disney parks anymore. Due to their large size, and the fact that people are attacking one another with them. They have ban Stanley's from the parks. Plus, Disney is trying to get into the Stanley business themselves!

  2. Hello, my friends daughters grandparents are taking her to Disney world in a couple of weeks. **Do you have any recommendations for this type of occasion to accommodate (not old, but in 50’s) to make for an easier experience?

  3. March Spring break at Magic Kingdom picked up dropped gift card at car loading gate of Big Thunder Railroad. Gave card to cast member at entrance to ride. Wondered what happened to that gift card and how much was on it. Felt sorry for who lost it as probably was kid on spring break and it was their money for food.

  4. I can't believe how complicated Disney has made planning a trip to the park. I've been to Disney World twice, once for my 16th birthday and once for my honeymoon. The only thing we had to be concerned about was whether we'd be able to get Fast Passes and how long the ride queue would be otherwise. Because I went on special occasions and wore pins or Mickey Ears which reflected that, I was often given free Fast Passes by Cast Members which made the trip even more special. This is just…sad. Especially for a family who has no idea and can't access the rides they want without paying more. It's pathetic, really.

  5. I can't justify paying what they want for tickets, magic pass, Genies etc; just to be disappointed. Not worth it anymore.

  6. If you're visiting the parks as a group, using the Family and Friends feature in the My Disney Experience app is a life-saver when it comes to booking Virtual Queues. You can make reservations for your entire party, and having multiple attempts to book a reservation right when they open just about guarantees that you'll be able to book one

  7. the biggest issue is timing. people who go around school schedules and holidays are double doomed.

  8. I am annoyed as everyone though with regards to the stess and randomness of the 7 am scramble. I expect that to change this year so that we will be able to preselect G+ like the old FP system.

  9. I have a question does Disney Transportation stay open for after hour events? Such as the Minnie Vans to get us back to our resort?

  10. mostly because they spend
foolishly and don’t have a plan. you see these people all the time. they go to a high profile tourist place, like the national
zoo in dc which is free, and then complain they can’t get in because they didn’t bother to make a reservation.

  11. Garbage in garbage out. DIS has morphed into a greedy, evil corporate entity whose only goal is to separate you from your money. They stopped caring about the quality of the product they offer. Their focus is cutting corners to save costs while charging you as much as they think you'll pay for a diminished product. Do yourself a favor and find another resort for your vacation.

  12. Been traveling to Disney now for 6 years with our family and never really had an issue. on our recent trip we had a little trouble with our Disney Genie app and when we discussed our problem with a cast member at a "blue Disney team experience location" we were met with disgruntled surly cast members that had would not help us out no matter what. We have NEVER experienced this type of service in Disney.. makes me not want to go back

  13. It’s crazy how Iger just obliterated this company. I don’t mind paying a premium price for Disney but the prices they charge are nuts. Last summer my family of 4 went on a week long road trip from Holiday World, to Indiana Beach, to Six Flags Great America, and ended at Michigans Adventure near our home. Still spent thousands less than Disney and the rides are way better. Disney has definitely lost touch.

  14. We are done with Disney…they have managed to make a vacation into a royal pain. You end up spending your entire days on your phone looking for ways to get on a ride at a reasonable time. It's just gotten ridiculous. Over it!

  15. OMG last time I went to Disneyworld this last January….IT WAS THE MOST STRESSFUL VISIT I'VE EVER HAD THERE! I assume it was because this was the first time we went since covid, and many things have changed do to it. Such as all the virtual queue's, the fact that they got rid of the shuttlebus to and from the airport and paid extra for a rental car, and many other small changes do to covid. The biggest problem of mine was Genie plus. Having to wake up at midnight to get genie plus access, and also having to gamble on the new rides such as Tron and Guardians of the Galaxy. Lastly, our first day at one of the parks which was Magic Kingdom my sister lost our backpack near the monorail and didn't notice until we got to the resort. We never did find the backpack filled of new baby shoes and sweatshirts. After that it just felt like everything else kept going wrong, because we kept forgetting more stuff. Overall, I will not be doing Disneyworld specifically for a long time. At least until all the hustle and bustle dies down with all the new rides and genie plus, stuff like that.

  16. Honestly the things that are terrible on our trip is other guests during fireworks (and castle show in MK). We get a decent spot a decent amount of time ahead and EVERY SINGLE time!! We get adults that stand directly in front of my kids, and are extremely rude when we say “Excuse me can you not go in front of us and leave space for our kids to see.” They get so mean and go “NO!” Legit every time, every park without fail. One guy even fought with me because he was nudging so close to our stroller it was pushing it and he was so close to our kids and it was getting so uncomfortable as in it felt super unsafe. That was actually during the ticket event Mickeys Not So Scary where we paid even more to be there. Please people don’t do that!! We all want to see the shows, parades and fireworks, please be respectful of others. I’m hoping that doing the Extra magic hours event in June, they have there own fireworks for the after hours event, I’m hoping this time it won’t happen because I get so much anxiety lately about watching the shows, parades and fireworks because we have yet to have a good experience 😢

  17. Disney has made it so stressful and complicated and EXPENSIVE that it’s just no longer worth it. A family can go on a cruise (even a Disney cruise) complete with a private island and water parks on the ship for less than it costs to go to Disney.

  18. Best way to avoid terrible WDW vacations; DON"T GO on weekends, 3day weekends, spring & summer, spring/fall school breaks, and all holidays! Simple!

  19. Just got back on Monday from a 5 day trip! Stayed at the Polynesian, which was absolutely AMAZING. Well worth the $ IMO. Unless you plan on spending zero time at the resort, it’s well worth it. The convenience of being able to take monorail, boat, bus, and being within walking distance to the Transpo center cannot be overstated. Being able to have a perfect view of the fireworks was amazing, and the hotel pumps in the audio from the fireworks show. Amazing! And lastly staying there you truly feel like you’re on vacation. The pools are great, the beach, the food, all of it was A+.

As far as Genie +…get it and utilize Lightning Lanes as much as humanly possible. We did 2 days in Magic Kingdom, 1 day in Animal Kingdom, and 1 day in Epcot (with a 5 and a 6 year old). We literally only did lightning lanes, didn’t wait in any regular standby lines… And the longest wait we had for a ride the entire trip was maybe 15 minutes.

We had an absolutely amazing time, and are already starting to think about planning our next trip.

  20. As a foreigner, here is what I know other foreigners who do not watch this channel, expect from Disney World, based on other theme parks and also ads:

    – That you can find all the characters just wandering around, maybe in areas themed to them. No long lines just to see an unobstructed view of them. Maybe if you are in a hurry they will still wave at you as you pass by.

    – Reasonable line wait times. Line wait times for other parks are never more than twice as long as the actual ride. Rides last longer in other places and still the lines are short enough that you can do your favourite rides twice in a day.

    – Not needing to plan everything to the 15-minute mark. Tickets, hotels, busses, counter service snacks, and ride passes- it's just too much, and everyone complains that they have to spend so much time on their phone.

    – Harry Potter. Disney and Universal do not put in the advertising effort to make sure the average person knows what belongs to who, and you just end up with unsatisfied guests and crying kids.

    – More immersive decor. While some areas are recently spruced up, the old plastic beanstalks behind the castle are looking shabby. We expect heavy environmental theming that can make it entertaining to just sit at a picnic table in an area and look around.

  21. Late Arrivals: If you find you will arrive after 11:00 PM or Midnight, call your resort hotel to let them know you will be late. I arrived at 2:00 AM after being caught in traffic caused by a collision…and they had cancelled my reservation as a no-show. The Cast Members were wonderful to get me a space, but there was a bit of heartache trying to get into the resort at the security gate since I no longer had a reservation. Call. Call. Call. (Learn from my mistake, please).

  22. I absolutely HATE that you have to reserve dining in advance now. I don't know what time I'll want to eat and what food on what day. I dont want to mess with my phone all day trying to get on a wait list for dining. You can't just go with the flow and relax anymore. Not everyone enjoys rigid whole day itineraries on vacation. All these reservations cause me so much anxiety lol

  23. It’s almost like Disney hasn’t actually cared about their fans or their parks for 5+ years now…. 🤔

  24. We are staying off property for a fraction of the price and we have an entire condo to ourselves. The Disney tickets costs thousands!! And that doesn't include food, extras, parking, it's insanity. This will probably be our one and only trip there. Canada is in a recession, the cost of living here is getting higher and higher. , and I'm shocked how busy Disney is actually.

We are very privileged to be able to go to Disney and other theme parks. It really isn't inclusive for all families… at all.

  25. How about buying a park hopper for your vacation and now they said Magic Kingdom is no longer available for park hopping today. How can they get away with selling park hopper if they aren't going to let you park hop?
