5. The only story Saphira was telling with that lipsync is the one where the clear frontrunner loses the lipsync, but the production still keeps her. And please don't compare Peppermint's lipsyncs to Saphira's lol 🤣 I'm not mad about it, but let's call it what it is. Plane Jane, although my favorite this season, winning with two identical outfits is not cute; for me, that's an easy way out, but she did do the best. I think the win should have gone to either Q or Nymphia. Marina, well, they got her out of the final lipsync because the production knew there was no way they could edit the lipsync between her and Tia in Tia's favor. You can notice how they were showing way more of Hanna, but even the bits where they show Marina, it was clear that she slayed.

16. I love Tia, so I'm happy for her but oof… Production really shit the bed on how they went about it. And this episode for the US season too… Idk, I didn't like the vibe. They were so harsh with Q and Nymphia but not a single comment on the fact that Plane had the exact same outfit for both of them and the actual makeup on her partner was faaar from the best. They had great energy and a great performance, but come on. People have lost these rigged challenges for less, suddenly the makeup doesn't matter? That lip alone needed a comment a la Lady Camden, lmao.

21. I wonder if they built up Marina in the editing of the finale, because there weren't any real "Jimbo/Pangina/Blue" eliminations like s1. All season, I kept waiting for the "Jimbo moment". I thought it was going to be Scarlet Envy since she proclaimed her strategy of voting off the strongest competition – it felt like a set up to be delivered later in the season.

23. Not only was this choice of winner of U.K. Season 2 b.s. ( no shade against Tia Coffee ), but Marina had already won the crown by mid-season. Likewise, the elimination of Morphine in the the lip sync on Friday night against Saphirra was also b.s. Sapphira did fine with her comical take on the song, but Morphine fully embodied that song in Friday night’s Season 16 show. When I go to see a drag show ( and I’ve seen some top notch drag shows across the country, including Ru Paul herself at the Metro in Jacksonville, FL ), I don’t go to see a drag queen do an acting challenge, or make an outfit, etc; … I go to see them lip sync. And if that means Marina wins U.K. vs. the World Season 2, or Morphine win Season 16 ( even if it means her lip syncing to the win ). I mean, even in the Season Finales, the final lip sync is supposed to determine the winner ( the queens don’t do a comedy challenge, an acting challenge, a sewing challenge. … it is the final lip sync that, again, determine the winner.

25. I'd argue that Tia could have won the season without production interference but let's not act like there was no intereference. I strongly believe the BBC won't allow a non-UK queen to win because the second Jonbers was placed in the bottom (the only other logical potential UK winner), they were ALL IN with Tia. They didn't do themselves any favours because people are just going to continue hating on UK vs the world and it'll just get cancelled…tbh let's just do a UK allstars instead because the UK doesn't want their crown going to a non UK queen period

26. A lot of people are either forgetting or ignoring the fact that Nymphia's yellow isn't just a jokey thing. It's racial pride in a slur that people have used against Asian folx for generations. Haven't really seen anyone acknowledge this with their criticisms.

29. So for season 16 to me, Plane won that challenge the moment she named her partner Lazy Susan. Again, to me, it is the funniest things happening in the drag race universe since allstars 7.
    And about UkvsTw, I’m not that mad about the result since I saw that outcome when Tia « successes » on the show did not make any sense to me. Yes she had grown but still have more to do in my opinion, I was not seeing her looks up to the level neither her performances in the challenges ( except the roast). So I guess since the bar was so low from her first season, it’s seem like a lot now. So again just my opinion, it doesn’t really matter and at the end of the day she won so, congrats to her, I guess.
