Congratulations Femke! I think she will go under 51 for the Hurdles. However, getting under 50.68 I'm not so sure. Hopefully. A 48 sec 400 flat outdoor should be possible based on her indoor time

I'm all set to root hugely for Sydney, but am enormously impressed by Femke Bol. I'm glad you also mentioned Klaver, and if Dalilah Muhammad is expected to run in Paris I would've mentioned her too.

Women have more slow twitch muscle fibers than men. Slow twitch muscle fibers are better at using oxygen and handling lactic acid, making women more better suited for this brutal event

I can't see Bol beating McLaughlin's 400H record, her hurdling form isn't quite as smooth as it should be.
I believe Bol will be a better 400 flat runner than McLaughlin though. Her strength is improving all the time, she's got better basic speed, and her physical advantages are obvious.
If you had Femke Bol and Lieke Klaver stand beside each other and asked the average person who they thought was the 400m indoor world record holder I would say 100% of them would point to Klaver. Bol's body type looks more like a distance runner then a 400 m record holder. I also love Bol's attitude and personality.

Some of the people that look different know that they are created for running and not fair.
What blows my mind is i was running the 400m in 52 seconds in 8th grade at age of 14. But im a man and definitely proves the huge difference between the two.
Femlke is amazing but Sydney is a once-in-a-lifetime athlete. Sydney will have the 400-meter record before too long.

Femke & Sydney could realy help eachother. After Femkes Golden 400mh race in Paris Olympics Sydney is willing to write a book for Femke. "Femke's golden race at Paris Olympics." Sydney will together with Femke do TV roadshows promoting Femke's book. 😂😅
Finally a drug-aided record is bested cleanly. For the people OK with trans athletes competing with the female athletes, my teammate in High School ran the 440 yard distance in the 49s. He was a lot faster than me but not nearly as fast as the top male quarter milers in the state who were running in the 46s. Take a guy with decent talent, reduce his testosterone for a year, and he can still beat all the genetic women who do not dope.
