In case you drive trains again Dan, a single yellow signal means the following signal is red, so you should be prepared to stop by the next signal (trains are fast, so you gotta start braking way before you can actually see the red signal), and a double yellow means that there is a red signal in 2 signals time (or that the next signal is a single yellow), so again, start thinking about stopping, or at least, go easy on the speed. The white lights are for shunting I believe. Don't really know on them.

I feel a deep need to buy this game and play it properly. Is there a video somewhere of Dan just sensibly playing a train simulator in real time for like an hour that was junked because I want to see that. I may be the only person who wants to see Dan actually follow the tutorials and play a train sim but I do.
That said Dan dicking about with a trainsim fits with the theme of Nerdcubed rebooted. Maybe Matt can get him set up with that super duper plane sim with crashes?

11 years ago I watched Dan play Train Sim 2013 and laughed so much and now I'm here watching him play out one I was actually part of creating. I'm a software engineer who does programming work on Train Sim World 4, glad to see it still meets all the same expectations Dan has from Train Sim
