The video says they had worked on developing the Moon for over 2 years at the point this video was made, and yet nearly 2 years later (total of 4 years) they STILL DON'T HAVE A WORKING PROTOTYPE!!! They NEVER had a working prototype as seen in the video or on their crowd funding page. And when you try to contact them, they don't reply to emails!
I think they’re missing a marketing gimmick. Make it red with a cats-eye iris and put it on top of a tall dark tower. I don’t need another webcam, but I’d love to have an eye of Sauron!

It looks awesome indeed. but, that is all. We already have stationary 360 cameras.
A levitating camera is no way better than a wired camera because:
1- It uses batteries, batteries have a shorter lifespan than wired things.
2-Cats will love to throw this things off the counter. (if you don't put it on a counter that has 360 view than you purchased it for nothing)
3- A decent wasp/bug could generate enough impact force to knock it off the stand if it will collide with it.
4- Kids, dogs, strong trepidation could easily knock it off the socket.
5-The magnetic field might harm the camera lifespan if it is not properly handled.
6- It can do exactly nothing special vs a normal 360 camera other than looking a bit better.
This is the coolest thing ever, I’m sure Disney will approach you guys into building a Death Star version of this thing.
IR blaster was the icing on the cake for me. Echo plus should have had one..
Lets all hope that it actually gets released and it lives up to what we expect! Good job guys!
