After bidding goodbyes to their families, Jeremy, Matthew and Veronica donned on their black aprons to face the pressure test. They were tasked with recreating three sea scallop dishes: a trio of scallops served with pea pureé, a Coquilles Saint-Jacques and a raw scallop crudo. They were had to open the sea scallops straight from the shell, and were given only the exact number of sea scallops required to replicate all three dishes. Jeremy made the best dishes, leaving Matthew and Veronica in the bottom, and Veronica was sent home.

veronica from hongkong. and hongkong people or people around that area like guangdong etc, they usually struggle with basic seasoning like salt and pepper, because their food is mellow and on the mild side of taste. In my book it's a bit bland.

Honestly, the fact mary won this one confuses me. It should have been Matthew or Jeremy. Mary sticks to food shes familiar with and her dish wasn't super technical. I mean yeah she made butter but thats the only thing.
