“tricked” is wild
With the BBC/prize money thing – part of the reason is the licence fee, however part of it is also something else. BBC has a lot of prize money gameshows (quizzes etc) where people get money based on how well they do. Part of the reason DR can’t give prize money is because the result is essentially down to Ru’s opinion and not something such as a quiz where the queens have won ‘themselves’. I don’t know the ins & outs as I only saw this on twitter haha but that’s the TL:DR
Mayhem was giving "I'll just show up and see what happens" energy. While other international queens are really giving it their all.
the reason they have prize money is because Ru doesn't choose who goes home. Prize money can be given on BBC but it has to be fair and with Ru choosing who goes home that wouldn't be a fair competition. Examples of shows with prize money is traitors
"2 drag queens and a trans woman"
Isn't it still "3 drag queens"? The trans woman was also a drag queen in the movie. She got into drag for their gigs and dressed normally as a woman otherwise. One of my favorite movies ever, though I don't suppose one can understand now what a breath of fresh air it was at the time.
Mayhem had the worst number and although her outfit was beautiful, it was also really predictable and simple. In my opinion she was the worst on the episode in every single part of it
No one was going to take the alliance with Mayhem – these girls don't know her only that she's forgotten her words twice
No, Mayhem was never going to be a threat to anyone
The fact she thought she is was quite delusional
It's the first episode and there was no way to hide that she was BAD
so any queen saving her would have be foolish to the viewers
There was nothing Mayhem could offer, there's no guarantee she would ever be in the Top to be of any help to any one

So, with the prize money, in the UK it is illegal to offer a cash prize on a reality tv show that had any production interference on the results. Drag Race is notorious for rigging the competition (eliminating queens when their storyline runs out). If Drag Race wanted to offer a cash prize they wouldn’t be allowed to rig the competition. Squid Games: The Challenge was filmed in the UK opposed to the US to show there was no production riggory
Mayhem tricked everybody that she knows what she's doing. Periodt.
She was trying to serve drama by claiming Long Covid but I see it as a very lame excuse for being incompetent. 🤷🏼♂️

What you are taxed depends on where you are a tax resident. If a UK queen wins UKvTW2 they will not be taxed. Overseas queens may have to pay tax – depending on their residency location’s tax laws (some may allow a certain amount to be tax free)
Mayhem is not a threat, the girls wanted an alliance with a strong queen. It wouldn't make sense ti have an alliance with her

Also had a hard time hearing some of the performances and I know my hearing is just fine lol
The thing I don’t understand is that supposedly Adore Delano was supposed to be on All Stars 6 but got dropped at the last minute, and supposedly she got dropped bc she wanted to breath fire for her talent show but WOW said no. So I don’t understand how Gothy Kendall was aloud to use fire but Adore was not? Adore coming back for All Stars 10?
I was so excited for Tia Kofi to come back but she lost me with her mediocre performance. Her strength is most definitely her humour so the crappy attempt at a christian inspirational "be yourself" song did not suit her at all. And the singing was bad.
Mayhem is embarrassing
I understand their choice to not accept an alliance with Mayhem. Mayhem showed she'd be dead weight in an alliance with only 1 challenge win ever, and an abysmal start to this season that did not instill confidence that she could ever return the favor. And if she can't help you, but obviously wants to play the social game, then she's too much of a wild card to keep around. You also get better optics in the audience eye by giving the underdog Gothy a fighting chance. Though I don't see Gothy winning under her own merits, and her only hope is the social game like Blu had to do. As the previous season showed us, when you focus on getting rid of the competition, the chaff rises to the top.
Mayhem is 1000% the most delusional queen ever in RPDR. She did poorly in 3 seasons and she still believes she is more competition than the others. That talent show is the BIGGEST FAIL of all franchises. Compare the talent show of Sugar & Spice (supposedly green without any experience) to her both talents shows. Seriously!! Come on

The Have Your Say videos are the only way for me to even know anything, since I can't watch it (I don't know WHERE to watch it). Even the normal seasons of Drag Race, they only place sneak peeks on the YouTube channel, so you can only watch until after the mini-challenge (or just the entrance looks on the first episode), so I'm really glad you're making these videos
Isn't it disappointing when you have more faith on the contestant you are rooting for than themselves? Going all the way to the UK to forget the words, again.
