Cullen's trebles deserted him just when he needed them most. Think he went about 18 darts without a treble in that final set, and that killed him off. He should have won that match.

Humpries vs. Cullen match was topnotch as well. Sad Ando had to go, but so this session had at least one little surprise called The Historymaker. All in all a great last darts night in 2023. Thanks PDC and all the players! 👏👏👏

Well played Joe Cullen but Luke Humphries deserved that win, his double double tops was amazing and then near the end when both kept missing and busting their doubles was crazy
Yes, Littler is very good, yes he has clearly more darting ability than Price, Wright and Michael Smith (I am one of the few who thinks Smith is a bit overrated, because I think he is too dependent on having a perfect flowing rythm that makes it harder for him to play very consistently during tournaments and even matches, just analyse his averages over games and tournaments, it shows) He might be even more natural than MvG, Having said that, I see people claim Littler is some freak of nature and going to dominate for years, a 105 average however in best of 7, and playing without pressure after coming from 102 average after 3 sets, is again, good, but nothing extraordinary, this is done many times before, and much better as well. I mean, if he were throwing around 110 plus averages like nothing, only then you could say he is able to dominate. Of course people will point out his age (I highly doubt his throw will improve that much after he began playing at like age 4 or 5 though, on the contrary, it always surprised me why so few teenagers were ever playing at top level, as the coordination and concentration needed to throw should not be any worse for a 16 year old compared to 35 year old, I actually think its the opposite, it is probably because not many children from a really young age are playing darts extensively, like in football, tennis, swimming etc)), there is the possible backlash of being famous and making good money as well.
