I don't know if I'd quite say that we knew Disney World had expansion plans in place. We've heard hints and blue sky concepts. That's not exactly confirmation. Always a hedging of bets. I think D23 will give something concrete this year- at least I hope so, if they are smart. They have to be reading the writing on the wall regarding the hype of epic universe next year…

My earliest next visit to WDW is in September 2027. Not one of these pie in the sky (Blue Sky) things will be done before that visit. Universal will have built an entire theme park by summer 2025 in the time it will have taken Disney to upgrade a small section of Epcot 🤷♀️
