Drake shouldve took lil waynes advice when he told him 'stick to singing about women. Youre a light skinned rapper from canada that was spoiled as a child. You didnt have it hard. Be authentic be yourself. Dont be acting like youre from the streets when youre not.' On one hand Drake wouldnt be at the level he's at if he didnt mimmick most rappers; on the other hand hes now a seen as a culture vulture using black music and ghost writers to get awards when thats not even what hes about. I dont remember drake speaking mych or rapping much about police brutality against black americans either when that was going on. Im not on anyones side. I think kendricks diss tracks were fire and drakes clapbacks were decent. Its all good entertainment right now. Distracting us from the troubles in the world for a brief moment.
