The craziest thing is that there is currently an organization on the ground in Gaza, capable of large operations in Gaza, that has never been infiltrated by Hamas, can ensure Hamas doesn't get the aid, has a perfect record of working with the Israeli government and never once betrayed them, and the only thing stopping/not forcing them to give aid is the lack of an order from the Israeli government. So why hasn't Israel decided to embark on one of the best PR moves in modern history and ordered the Israeli Defense Forces to distribute medical and food aid to the civilians of Gaza? It would also potentially help establish more positive feelings with Israel and contribute to peace and would probably be the best people to deliver aid.

Sadly the US is in denial regarding the strike on the humanitarian workers. Sympathetic words of condolence are empty words. The aid workers gave the IDF their co-ordinates and were fired on 3 times. They were in well marked vehicles. In the UK's 'The Times' newspaper on Tuesday, 2nd April 2024 there was an article on drones and a weapons expert discussed the Hermes 450 drone used by Israel in the War in Gaza. He called it the best drone in the world and is made by Israeli firm, Elbit Systems. Its capable of spying on its targets for as long as 17hrs and can go to a height of 18,000 feet. He said that with his knowledge of Israel's capabilities with these drones, he has to call into question why so many people have been killed in Gaza. Israel would be able to make out positions of non-combatants using the Hermes 450 when launching an attack, so there was no need for death and destruction. These drones were used to kill the aid workers. There is no excuse. The IDF do not operate in war to the same standards that are expected of Nato countries (of which it is not a member). Its time the USA stopped supplying weapons and insisted on a permanent ceasefire and immediate vast amounts of aid into Gaza. By the USA not taking control of the situation, and using delay tactics, thousands more will die of starvation, disease and be fired on when they are trying to get food. Civilians who are not members of Hamas. The reputation of the US Government is in shatters and they could end up in the Hague as they are complicit in this. They keep supplying arms and are not forcing Israel to uphold the ruling by the ICJ and the UN. Disgraceful. Sanctions or not venezuelans will continue to leave their country until Maduro and the Communist party loses power and democracy is installed. All sanction relief does is give Maduro more power and wealth and allow him to continue to crack down on his people. Venezuelan immigrants will lean more towards Trump if he seems harder in Maduro than Biden.
