  1. Wargaming promises me free tanks and stuff all the time, but then when I log in to the game, there's nothing there or it's like impossible to claim or whatever. I've stopped even bothering to log in. The Patton Tank "free tank, nothing required"? I logged in and looked around and had no idea what to do to claim it, and it wasn't there. I'm done. It used to be easy.

  2. Hello, QB! Great video, as always. I'm a player from Brazil, and I'm used to playing logged into the NA Central server because there are hardly any players on the Latin America server. So, I know what it's like to suffer from a shortage of players on my server. I get very concerned if the interest of players in the game continues to decline in America, and if this could mean that all the time (and money) invested in a game I enjoy playing might have been in vain.

  3. I would say that if WG needs to address any matter in WoT, it's the state of clan wars. That mode is certainly not in good shape and being in an active social group tended to keep people in the game.

  4. QB is financially stable years ago due to WoT vlogging
    no problem if WoT stops
the old WoT games are priceless to our memories
i got paton tank last december but never played it in my asian server

  5. funny NA also the skill creep the games has more better players bad/uni to where the game play is very suffocating with its 0-15 games it has you either have a land slide on winning or losing and why win rates kinda dont matter much anymore at least for me because the games is either the mm puts the better players on one team while the other team has less then avrg or worse which makes the game not as fun it would be like i played maybe my guess 2012-2017ish

  6. I find overall that this is a good video, but I feel the US and EU servers would be the last to go since that is the two servers in which house the most players with the highest amount of disposable income. While you 100% have whales in RU they have always been a bit more stingy in buying things from what I have seen, but that could have changed. I play on the NA server and 10 to 20 dollars a month is next to nothing. Like 2 to 3 meals at most. Where if you go to the RU they have to actually suppress the price a fair margin to sell. For 3900 Rubles you get 25k gold which is about $42 to $43. On the NA server it is a $100 for that same amount of gold. So in theory, NA and EU should have to buy more gold more often. Maybe that train of thought is just wrong based on the sheer amount of players on RU though. Regardless, keep up the good work and have fun.

  7. I spend $128 a year on wot perm account. I buy the 3 month perm, I'm not made of money so that's what I'm stuck with. I'm a slightly above average player who doesn't like anyone so I stick to myself. I've also never used the free tier 9.

  8. ahhh! @Quickybaby the Asia area has already shrunk… 2 servers Hong Kong and Australia… already have been amalgamated into the ASIA1 server… they basically closed the Australia server… (as our ping late last year when the "Name" change came in, it dropped immediately to the HK ping rate…). I'm a late starter and only started playing via my brother, and during the pandemic in 2020 March, due to boredum and 2 years of lockdowns in Melbourne Australia)… and when I started the Aus server had about ave 900-1500 players active (and on special events it might jump up to 1100-1900), gradually once I got to playing more regularly that dropped to 800-1200… and by the end of the pandemic in 2022 most of the time the Aus server only had about 600-1000players per night. Most of the time, non-peak time there might only be 400 on the server… then they just amalgamated us in to the ASIA1 server… and I suspect many Australia/New Zealand players all left the game then, as when you are playing at 120-160ping (and I've had mine jump out to 150-300ping) vs sweaty asian players on 15-40ping… the game is pretty much over… I went back to playing a bit of arty again.. as you just can't play LT or MT (which I love) and being competitive…

I was pretty much a FTP player… and would just buy some Xmas boxes once a year, for a boost… so only about $50 AU per year… for the first 2 xmases…but last year, just saw that it was going downhill, and decided not to spend any money as the game IS dying here. And like you say Asia Pacific is only 1.85% of their entire player base. It is a fun game, with ongoing challenges… but this end of the World is the canary in the mine… but yeah it might take a lot of years for the RU and EU to die off. ASIA will probably dwindle, and NA will probably be next…

  9. I would probably spend more on WoT if the game-play was better. I'm in New Zealand and we have to connect to the Singapore server for our gaming since they shut down the Australian server. Because of this I am regularly experiencing ping as high as 260ms. Occasionally it's 140ms and I don't know why. At 260ms the game is playable, but it does have many frustrating moments. A VPN doesn't seem to solve the problem. There was damage done to the main undersea cable a few months ago, but I am unsure if it's still damaged or has been repaired yet.

  10. Game is full with bots, because less and less real players play this game. Transfering ukrainian players ti EU servers was worst move in history of Wargaming bad moves. Also, more and more players use "legal" cheats which you can buy, and if you pay real price Wargaming not react even if you send them ticket and video of using cheats in game. Random game is horrible. Some of us old players still play advance and some events.

  11. The amount of revenue doesn't necessarily mean that a company is profitable. Revenue just tells the scale of the company's operations. However in wargaming's case I would agree that the costs of running wot are relatively low.

  12. Well all good things come to an end at some point. And I am sure all our favorite streamers will find something new. That is life. Hopefully not for a few years yet.

  13. We didn't watch "how expensive is world of tanks" because we don't want to think about how much we spent on this game 😛

  14. Billions of dollars and they still can’t give us more content like maps on a regular bases. It’s almost as if they have 90% of people working on marketing and 10% on creating maps and things that are not an immediate cash flow.
In my opinion this is why WoT is been steadily losing players, they focus more on moves that generate instant money rather then things that help with the longevity of the game. I am not saying the game is gonna die soon, but we’re certainly seen it start to fall.
WOTEXPRESS is not saying the game is dying in 2025, they are saying WG is moving in to more of a maintenance the developing phase and I believe this is true. Besides, it’s not like WG was good at implementing new stuff often anyways. 2025 is also when I thing Cold War is gonna be out of beta, this new game is where WG is heading, cause they want to copy the new games models of gameplay, in WoT they’ve only implemented the new cash grabbing models, but in the new game they will implement the new models of games along with even more monetary models then they’ve done in WoT, this is why that new game has things like so much more going on, respawning etc.
Anyways, been playing WoT for 12 years on the NA server and this are my two cents in the matter.
I am definitely not playing CW if it has the same RNG as WoT.

  16. The last game that I will ever play with WG. If WG decides to shut down WOT, I will never play other games from WG again. Greedy company.

    Balas
  17. WOT wouldnt be shutting down even if the world was ending at that very moment.
In fact, i think WG would still find a way to make some bullshit sale that people would still buy.

  18. Fusion of client would be great, for me specially that i´m in Argentina using NA, SA has very little players so isnt appealing, and I´m about to move to Barcelona. Still if it doesnt happen, you show us playing NA server you still have less ping that I have from here. I think that the low amount of players in America is because a total fail in marketing at here. 5 years ago we were about 40k peak online, so that´s a failure in various levels for lose half its clients and dont grow enought when US has a big population. Maybe americans like more Warthunder? 🤔

  19. There's also WOT China server which is sub-managed by a Chinese company but Wargaming takes a huge cut from, they started selling obj 268 v5 many years before other regions and recently started selling vz 55 gothic warrior for about 60$ in the black market.

  20. feel the timing of this news is poorly placed like … WG has already announced THREE new tech lines of vehicles, one coming out later in 2024, and 2 more slated for early and late 2025, and more to come. I highly doubt they'd shutter the game by 2025, not just for their promises but how much of a cash cow WoT is.

On the other hand I could say this rumor may be poorly directed to Lesta Studios, because I think they've been struggling, especially with the crippling economic sanctions that Russia has been under. They also seem to be fixing a lot of things, buffing old lines and throwing out seemingly last-ditch "please buy this" style tanks

  21. All they need to do is make wot balanced and not pay to lose because if you're a new player and pay to get to tier X you're going to lose and literally won't learn anything for the first 5000 games and the game will not be fun for you …🤣🤣
