Please let me know if my understanding of short, medium and long range is accurate….
Short Range : 1-6 km
Medium Range : 7-9 km
Long Range : 10 km – infinity

This is one of the Bureau ships I am thinking of doing next after the two I am working on the Alaska and Saipan get done, I already have Montana and Yamato in port,also it be sweet if it had 16in not 15in, but that many is OP at lest to me it has 4 morethen Montana, also15in is still good when you have this many,
Also Spartan I have 4 teach tree Tier VIII I can get the two US, the 1 Japan, and the 1 after Bismarch on Germany, which should I go for if any?

Are you perchance running Di Revel? If so, you are still not getting the most out of this ship. If you run Iachino on this ship with two good accuracy inspos, you will see just how nasty this thing can be. 16 main guns that all go much better where you are pointing is more than worth giving up the secondary range.
I don't care what anyone says about Yamato or Ohio, this ship is the nastiest BB in the game. Any BB can dev strike cruisers. This thing can dev strike other BBs with ease. And it can also dev strike DDs too. The pen angles are nuts. I just hope that they don't nerf it, because my buddy and I are really enjoying it. Anytime we take our Colombos out it is pretty much a guaranteed dub.

I did this with the Massachusetts. I thought it was a only brawler type. I turned it to a range ship and found you can literally slap people from almost 19km away. I switch from both types of style

Maybe I haven't play it oryginally, But I tried to switch my Nagato commander from sniper build. It wasn't a good idea
I run it with Di Revel using artisans touch that does more citadel damage and more pen. Seems to really work great. For inspiration I use Yamato for gun traverse and dispersion along with Cunningham.

Italian BBs seem to work best at mid range for me

Me and my buddies run Colombo full accuracy and prefer to fight around 10 km. Easily can delete any cruiser, chunk bbs, and can even dev strike dds if they give broadside. Imo best ship in the game
