There are some essential tips in World of Warships you must learn in order to be a better CV players. Learning them will help you to not suck at aircraft carriers, or at the very least help you outplay the enemy Aircraft Carrier. While these tips might not work in every situation, they will work in most. Map awareness if key, as is plotting your course wisely. set autopilot, but since there is no cancel button, just spam all the keys trying to make autopilot stop in the map view
always use the fighter planes to divert attacks from your attack planes, don't waste them on your bbs
move with your team no one likes a cv and no one will help one out

I'm very disappointed, that WG decide to remove the RTS gameplay of Aircraft Carriers. It made them unique. And while I never actually used a Carrier, I always found their gameplay to be quite entertaining and somewhat challenging.
I know this is 3 years old but ty i never knew you could set a way point just had my best game. On series x so yea was struggling. Never in back again. So many still do it!

Console doesn't get waypoints… we get A waypoint. and am stuck with a flight of 6 planes that only uses 2 planes at a time… I'd love to rock a ship with all 6 at a time but don't know how to change the useage… may not be available at low teir.

3:45 you said that carriers are very heavy and hard to destroy, but in my last match i got insta killed by a squadron of torpedo bombers, and i dont know how, despite that i had full health (33200), in 1 second i saw that my whole health bar went down, and that i was killed by a squadron of tier 4 torpedo planes
The fact I hate is that attack squadron cant shoot rockets instantly.If they fix it,it will be so good
So basically, don’t attack ships with good AA, great tip. 🙄

Dont have rocket aircrft
Less attack group numbers
Even top tier carriers drop less ordinance
