By June, 1944 Russia had already destroyed three entire German Army Groups (of 2.5 million men), one Italian Army Group (of 900,000 men), and one Hungarian Army Group (of 235,000 men).

30. During WWII my father was a paratrooper, infantry of the 101st Airborne Division & I remember his stories of his days in the service. He talked about his days @ Normandy. He also said our government lied about the things that happened during war & he did not trust our own government because of it! He would be 100 yrs & 7 mo old if he were still with us. He was the bravest man I ever knew!
